The one star is only because Connections to Canada is gone. The store closed at the end of October 2014 and didn’t relocate, to anyone’s knowledge.
Sad to see something truly ‘local’ made and well known disappear from the North Shore and the Lonsdale Market.

Connections to Canada is a great alternative to your usual smoked salmon and Vancouver key chain souvenirs. If you want something unique to bring home, stop by Connections to Canada to check out Coast Salish and Kwaguitl Indian arts and crafts. When I visited the store, there was a man demonstrating metal carvings. The shop specializes in wood carvings, masks and jewelery.
