As a thrift store shopper, I’m very pleased with the selection and price found at La Fashionista. Not only consignment but well-selected vintage and contemporary pieces are sold here for a very reasonable price. I’ve found the owner is open, friendly, and genuinely wants you to look your best; I can’t argue with that kind of interactive service. As opposed to somewhere like Value Village or Salvation Army, this is a boutique experience with better-quality finds. And if you’re taller or larger than the average person, as I am, it’s a pleasure to be able to try on pieces that not only fit but are flattering, as opposed to swimming through racks of misc stuff, praying you’ll find something wearable over an hour of trying things on. The selection is varied, which is good, and the accessories available include vintage finds and pieces by local artists and craftspeople. It’s also important to note the owner participates in community events and runs some in the store, as well as featuring art installments from local artists.

I had high hopes for this place, however, was disappointed. Low quality out of fashion(not in the retro cool way) clothes. The prices are stupid for the actual clothes. I felt very uninspired. Lady was nice enough, however, she just needs to focus her quality and fashion line. The only difference between this and a Value Village is the price. Consignments are supposed to have better to offer.
