Great place. Good fresh fruits&vegetables.Canned goods from around the world and fair prices. Always a friendly smile from the staff whenever I go there. You will save a lot of money buying your produce here. Way better than Safeway and save on. Worth the extra stop.

It’s only okay. We’ve been looking for a Fruit and Veggie Market since moving to Burquitlam. We used to shop at Young Brothers weekly when living in Van, which we found had a very good selection of produce with really good prices. The produce here is only mediocre and while the prices are better than at a big grocery store, I don’t know if it’s worth the trip. We’ll probably keep looking for a new Fruit and Veg Market.

The guy I am dating recently moved back in this hood and I found this small little mom and pop produce place for basics at an awesome price. The lady at the til is super friendly. If you need cheap inexpensive produce this is it. I bought a bag of carrots and a few oranges for under $ 4 = sweet(no pun intended). The produce itself is 3 — 4/5, however, in the end it doesn’t really matter to me considering that it is all going in a blender anyway to make juices.

Like another reviewer said, shop local! This is a cute little locally owned veggie store in uptown New West. The quality of the produce ranges from average to good, and they have a wide selection of canned and packaged goods in the back too. Very cheap(I have no idea who would ever buy produce from supermarkets like Safeway when stores like this exist). And if you shop there regularly the cashiers get to know you and always ask about your family etc., they’re really quite friendly and funny! I’d give them 5 stars if the produce quality was a biiit higher, but this is still the best veggie store in New West IMO.

I love this place. Prices are more than reasonable, selection is above average for a fruit grocer and the quality of produce is 4⁄5. If you look even a tiny bit at what you’re throwing in your basket, you won’t make bad purchases. Surprisingly, they have a very decent selection of Italian ingredients. Gnocchi are about 70% the price of Safeway’s. Denny’s also has cans of ‘good’ tomatoes for homemade sauce. They have dried medium-grade pasta from Italy too, but rarely have bunches of fresh basil. I go once a week and walk out with two shopping bags full of produce for about $ 20. With Galloway’s next door, this vendor has its place in my weekly routine.

Cheap, medium quality and good variation. Inside of the store is well lit but not so spacious, so it is hard to shop. Their customer service is not so good. Returning expired items is just so bad. I’m a pushover so I can’t really act rude to anyone, too scared. But no matter how nice the customers are, they often rolls eyes, gives dirty look and tell people«Be careful next time» with a sigh. Be careful what? Sure not checking the expiry date on usually long lasting canned item is bad I guess. But it’s expired for about 5 months. Why is it sitting on shelves still? Why should he(customer) get such rude response? Other time with expiry date problem(expired 3 months ago this time). They gave me rude service as usual but was returned successfully. I came back next day, somehow the expiry date magically disappeared from ALL of them. I just came back from there now and it was still sitting there, with no expiry date. I find that disgusting(Yeah I asked them about this and they refused to answer). Some of the cashiers throws receipts at customers and some makes gestures of «go away» with their hands after the payment and more. I don’t know if I like this store anymore…

Ya gotta love Denny’s. Fresh produce and way better prices that Safeway or Save-on. Lost of other interesting bits of ethnic food stuffs in the back as well. I’m stopping by on a weekly basis to stock up and often don’t need to head anywhere else to find the basics. They also have bulk feta cheese and olives! Pretty sure they take credit cards, cash and debit for sure,

Wonderful little supermarket aptly named a ‘Farm Market’ as they have a delightful selection of produce. Fresh vegetables and fruit, very reasonably priced. Behind the produce section at the front are shelves of grocery items including bread, dairy, juices, sauces, tinned goods, pasta, dried goods, soy products, and the list goes on. We found everything on our weekly shopping list(no meat) and spent a very small amount of money. We’re always looking for alternatives to the large chain supermarkets. This is a great option. I recommend it. Shop local, save big!
