So Columbia Street Sandwich Company is to simple sandwiches as Big Star is to complex sandwiches.
That is to say, they’re very very good. I’ve been in here a couple time for lunch and I really enjoy their compact menu. You’ve got a couple choices for sandwiches, some simple toppings and the option to make it a combo with a drink and soup or chips. I’ve posted a couple photos of the sandwiches, and I think that says more about the food than my words.
So if you’re in new west and want a good simple sandwich, come here.

Located in the old GOOD EATS Café. We stopped by for a quick breakfast sandwich around lunch time, and they still made them for us. Served on a fresh bagel, perfectly prepared. The couple serving us were so friendly, a HUGE change from the last owners. The prices are quite reasonable so this will be a «go-​to» place for us when we are downtown. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
