Nicastro’s Italian Food Emporium

I absolutely love Italian food, culture, music, and geography. This place has a little of all of that. My mother and I have been shopping here since «la bella donna» and I was just a «bambino»
What a great selection of Classic Italian food, authentic sauces, and positively Italian flavours. The family that owns the establishment has worked here since I can remember. They are down to earth people and always willing to help you shop, even to translate the Italian labels is you need it. You just don’t get home grow service like that any more.
Of course this place is always a must for cheese, pasta, sauce, and my personal favourite panettone. The Italian sodas are not bad either so give those a try. My family and I will be shopping here for many years to come to we recommend you come visit Nicastros.

I am really starting to like this place! I returned to pick up some deli meats, and boy-​oh-​boy, the quality is fantastic, and less expensive than the grocery store. I picked up cheese slices, 2 different types of salami, black forest ham, and 2 rolls for $ 11.00, which I believe is money well spent.
Another thing that I noticed. The owner is always there; (hes the one wearing the long red cloak looking jacket (minus the hood), and as soon as he sees a customer enter the store he makes sure that they are served right away. He hates seeing customers wait.
I still find it difficult to maneuver around the store because it is so small and it is always filled with many people, but I guess it is cozy???
This is my new spot for deli meats! :)
