I don’t imagine many people are enthusiastic about oral surgery, but if you’ve got to get it done… So somehow I managed to be one of the last 29-year-olds with wisdom teeth intact. And impacted. And causing trouble. So, after a referral from my dentist, I got in touch with Seaforth. These folks were recommended to me because of their accessibility by public transit. They’re near Guy-Concordia, and a number of bus lines, so the office was very easy to get to. The reception staff were kind and helpful, the office itself is very pleasant, and all the hygenists and doctors I met were nothing but exemplary. As for the oral surgery itself, well, it was easy and as pain-free as one might expect. They gave me a sweet ice pack to take home(seriously! it’s quality), comprehensive aftercare instructions, and even gave a courtesy call the next day to make sure everything was going well. Prices also seemed pretty reasonable — I don’t have dental insurance and I’m not in the poorhouse yet. All in all, as good an experience as I could have hoped for. Now, 100% free of wisdom teeth!
