Not the best but not the worst !
It’s a middle eastern fast food joint like many others. I was on the quest to find a better one than resto Atyab Aklle in laval. I believe there isn’t a better middle eastern fast food joint better than the one in laval.
Going back to Restaurant Sara, it’s a wide spacious area right on the corner of St– Laurent & Mont Royal. It’s real good for late nights when you’ve got no where else to go and pretty much on the healthy side if you get their veggie plates.
The food: Mediocre. Not the freshest of fresh but I came here at night so maybe that’s why it wasn’t so warm. However, I’m pretty surprised they had so many options to chose from so late at night. I went with their middle eastern type omelette. Ok so I will admit it’s the best one I’ve tried so far. It’s so huge but not too greasy and not to dry. Very crispy as a matter of fact.
Their hummus is really awesome.
Their garlic sauce last time I was here (last week) was too acidic unfortunately. Their turnips were not the dark fusia colour. It was a very light violet. I’m guessing they have been out for a real long time and got discoloured.
Their service: was good! I had a really nice man prepare me my meal really quickly and served ot to me with a smile. The Price is real good for what you get! Overall, it’s a wonderful place if you’re real hungry late at night! I’ll definitely consider coming back but let me repeat it’s not the best. It’s decent enough when you’re hungry.

Excellent shawarma. We can from Pennsylvania to check out Montréal and we found this nice restaurant. The food quality is excellent and the prices are reasonable. Excellent middle eastern food for sure.

I go hear often for lunch. Quick service and good food. Cannot beat the price for this area.

Great late night spot if you are around the Mont Royal/​Saint Laurent intersection. The owner is a really nice guy who goes the extra distance to make sure every customer is happy. Great variety of salads and good prices for shawarmas. Spécial trio is a good deal. The fries are very good.

Good Taouk
If you are up in the plateau and are craving good shish taouk, fast, head to this place. Corner Mount-​Royal and The Main
I like the chicken shawarma wrap, with garlic, hummus and hot sauce, an order of there ridiculous roasted potatoes (smothered in garlic sauce) and of course, washed down with black cherry soda. They call it a ‘trio” in Canada
This place also has a butt load of windows along the wall so it is a great place to people watch… if you’re into that.
