Pharmaprix

This is my go to pharmacy.
Always good prices and junk food on special.
Rarely a long wait time to pick up any meds.
Free parking in the back and right below a clinic for added convenience.

This s a bit of the St-​Denis’ Pharmaprix’s sruffier little brother but it does have its perks. It really is eerie how ALL the Pharmaprix (or Shopper’s Drug Marts) have exactly the same layout. If you don’t spot the minute differences, you might just think you have traveled in space. Who knows, maybe they all are undercover Tardises!
Here you have a limited choice of common goods, but the range of natural products and beauty products make up for it. They can lack in great, quality brands, which annoys me just that little bit. It isn’t generally cheaper, as with everywhere else, you have to know the average cost of the product you’re looking for and compare.
They seem to be terribly understaffed and not do much about it. The employees behind the pharmacy counter are aloof and not really eager to help. Where the Jean-​Talon redeems itselfs is in the food department! It’s Lush! There, they really have brands and fancier stuff (almond milk, chai tea!!) as well as a full alley of chocolates. I would give it a 3,5 stars if I could but it’s the holidays and I’m loving my chai tea…
