Great place to enjoy video games. There’s 2 floors, the second one is a Café, I didn’t go and only learned about it at the end the night. So the place is not enormous but has a good usage of it’s space. There’s 3(maybe 4) Station to play games on different console with 4 controllers each stations. It’s a whole lot of fun and coming very soon is definitely recommended, especially if you want to get some station to play games. That night there was a live broadcast of LoL University league. The bar staff was very good and efficient and always there if you needed a drink. It’s a place where they have some craft beer and local beer, cider and a full range of Re-names drink after geek stuff. At the beginning of the night, it felt like a sausage fest but I was pleased to see the Geeky Girl come out by 8−9pm showing it’s a more and more diverse World. I would go back, as the drinks good, not to expensive and we had a lot of fun.

I would describe Nexus as a niche specific bar. The theme here is gamer geek wall to wall. I don’t have many cons for the bar. So, I’ll just get them out of the way. I found the noise level here over the top, which is mostly a result from the background music. Despite being loud the music is good and fits the bar and mood well. On to the good stuff. The place is filled geekdom goodness, which you must see for yourself. There are about 5 group game stations with either Xbox, Playstation, or WiiU available. Of course as with any excellent video game there is a map to guide you through the bar. The cocktails are not only game themed, but delicious too. If cocktails are not your thing you can get a Saint-Ambroise. My fav was some sort of sriracha shot that we had. I found the drinks priced well for the value of their taste, the bartenders service, and the local competition. For a small bar, I think they had lots of seating space in the game stations and at the bar. I also found that the staff were energetic and friendly. Everyone seemed enthusiastic about the opening. A few more comments: I recommend kicking-off the night here with a group of friends. I visited on the opening weekend, and the place still felt new and young. I am interested to see how they develop of the coming year. I certainly look forward to going back.
