outside of ogilvy, this is the high-end mall of downtown Montréal. the closest access point is via the peel metro station as it’s right next to it otherwise, you have a fair share of walking if the starting point is McGill station. the mall is OK. it’s used to house club monaco which was the main reason I went there. there’s holt renfrew I believe but it’s way out of my budget range that I simply don’t bother. there’s a dkny that wasn’t bad. on the metro level, you can find the american apparel store which is decently OK. as for the rest, there isn’t much worth visiting. there’s a bar on the 2nd floor which I can’t really vouch for even though some POF speed dating events were hosted there. anyway, if looking for somewhat high-end, this is the mall you need to go to

Just a regular downtown mall, though admittedly prettier than most on the strip since it’s a converted hotel, and with the goal of being a high-end mall you do find brands here that can be tough to find elsewhere, plus bargain stuff in the basement, and it’s connected to Peel metro and«the underground city!!!» so that’s good if you are not used to the weather here in winter. Overall, as far as malls go, this one is a pretty little oasis with less street traffic than the malls and shops directly on St Catherine, cute corners to chat and have coffee, greenery, lofty ceilings, comfy chairs. Back in undergrad I accidentally spent way more than I could properly afford here on stylish things that seemed essential at the time. This is that kind of mall.

Not as excited about this place as I used to be years ago since some of the stores I liked closed down over the years. The mall is still nice enough though.

This is the arguably the best place in Montréal to find fashionable clothing and accessories. The Fountain Court houses some pretty cool Boutiques and if you’re looking for upscale names, there are those here too. The architecture itself is just ultra cool. If I had more time and more space in my luggage, I would have made myself $$$$ poorer =/
