Defiantly worthy of 5 stars. Was there for a wedding. Amazing historic venue and the food was incredible. Very memorable experience.

Gorgeous historic music venue like stepping back in time. Built in 1930, and so raucous it was shut down by Drapeau in 1970, this dim glowy art deco room is swinging with sepia late night jazz ghosts. There is a narrow balcony with tables, and seated capacity on the floor for about 100 when set up with cabaret tables. The bar is not crazy over priced and the service at the bar is quick and bilingual. Table service is a bit slow. The stage is a nice size having been expanded when the space reopened with a Sodec grant in the late 80’s. The neighborhood is a bit sketch but well worth the adventure to see music in this warm full sounding, incredibly lovely old room.
