I went here for my birthday. It has great service but the food is extremely over-priced and not at all worth it. I actually left kind of hungry. I love Moroccan and Algerian food but this was the most disappointing birthday dinner in a long time. I thought that they might even put a few olives or something on the table to pre-snack before the meal the same way italian restaurants give bread or Mexican restaurants give tortilla chips and salsa. Nothing at all. 30 $ per person :(and a bowl of food. Not happy! Never again nor will I recommend to anyone…

Was in the neighbourhood and stumbled on this boutique restaurant which happens to serve the most authentic Algerian, Moroccan and Tunisian cuisine! Co-founder of Au Coin Berbere, Ms. Nora Hamdi will charm you with her magical culinary craft. The menu is always varied but you must order the vegetable couscous with braised lamb shanks or try the tajine of chicken, green olives and lemon confit. Oh one more thing, the harissa(tunisian hot sauce) is a «must try» and perhaps even consider bringing some home she produces homemade jarred lemon confit, harissa and pre-mixed spices for the cook in you!
