I know this place; I shopped there a few times. The selection is good and does have high-end products, however, the service is anything but classy: it is all about bullying and insulting unsuspecting(or clueless) customers. I shop a lot in NYC and no actual high-end establishment receives customers with such vulgar, trashy behaviour, always looking for conflict. If you can’t bother with common courtesy you shouldn’t be working with the public, period. Besides, this city has a couple of high-end lingerie stores who are fitting experts and have been around longer than these guys. I don’t know if they are living under a rock but real luxurious people don’t shop at a place located on St-Hubert street anyway. Bottom line is, they don’t care whether you spend 50 $ or 50K at their store, they don’t respect or value your business, so do yourself a favor and spend your hard-earned money, business and time in a more worthwhile place — or shop on the Internet.

This establishment is decent. I’ve gone in a few times and they helped me out; I did not encounter any problems. They’re like one of the two stores in Montréal that sells REAL corsets and other pin up /retro style lingerie. They are the only place that makes their own, too. I think the other reviewers who had given them bad reviews for their eccentric staff just have fragile egos.

Can I give this place a ZERO please??? I have NEVER been so appalled in my life… I went into this store to browse for a dipped back bra for a dress with an open back I walked in, asked a young lady for what I was looking for, and was then told that she would get me the«expert» who’d be able to help me better. Sounds good so far, right? Wrong. This expert happened to be a very pushy, inappropriate, and in-your-face guy who told me that that bra I was looking for was stupid and shouldn’t be sold, and that if I really wanted to look like a sausage, I should go elsewhere to buy it because they didn’t sell such failure-type bras. He then said that I’d fare better with a bustier, which I was ok with. Regardless of the fact that I insisted I knew what my bra size was, he insisted on measuring me. Fine again. HOWEVER, my issue was when(a) he brought me a garmet 2 sizes too small saying that we’d try to «cheat the system» and(b) when he INSISTED that I come out of the changing room without doing up the bustier because he was a professional who could do it better. I must’ve said«I know how to close up a bustier» about 4 times and he kept repeating that he was a professional and that I «HADTO» open the door. Sound like a nightmare yet? Good thing I’m not done. So, I finally told him that if he could wait a second I’d have it done up and that I wasn’t comfortable with him doing this thing up on me when I had nothing else on. My friend then chimed in, and said that she’d come in to help me, to which he responded«ONLYPROFESSIONALSCANDOTHAT!». He then informed me again that he was a professional who’d been fitting bras for 40 years(because that’s supposed to make the creepiness go away I guess), and after I insisted that he was making me really uncomfortable, the lady manager came over. … After about 5 minutes of back-and-forth with her, I decided not to buy the said garment mainly because of their RIDICULOUS attitude, to which she snapped at me «excuse me, but I got you exactly what you wanted, so why aren’t you buying it!?» Oy vey… what a horrific experience. Places like this seriously shouldn’t be allowed to operate. The«professional» who works there is unbelievably inappropriate and the overall attitude of the people who work there is horrendous. I still get angry when I think of this incident. Grr…

Wow. Never in my life have I been asked to leave a store for browsing. I cannot even call the fellow working a «gentleman» because he never showed an ounce of customer service towards me and my travel companions. I trained retail employees for six years on how to give above-and-beyond customer service, this was the worst interaction with potential customers I have ever experienced. Maybe it’s a thing in Montréal to have the front door to your store wide open, no special notices on the entrance, no verbal communication and no professional way to tell customers that you are not allowed to be in the store unless you need something specific because of the bazaar happening out on the street where your store is but that’s what happened to us. No really, we were asked to leave unless we needed something specific. Well, how am I supposed to know what I need if I can’t see what you have? And, the guys I was with were absolutely cooing over the underwear selection here. They were excited, we were having a great time looking around. I sat down for a brief moment to fix my shoe and then BOOM, Move It Or Lose It Guy told us to skedaddle. Too bad for this place, we walked just down the street and bought stuff at the other other adult store who were warm and welcoming even though they were getting ready to close. Your loss grumpy pants!
