I’m usually not one to frequent big chain stores, but Harry Toulch is a great eyewear shop. I come here mainly because they have the best selection of Moscot frames in the city. They will also happily transfer stock from one location to another to make things more convenient for you.
Overall, recommended and without any complaints whatsoever.

MIchael Toulch is the sweetest, most brilliant optometrist I’ve ever had the good fortune to meet. If you’re a brokeback bohemian, he’ll go out of your way to make it work for you. But he’s no pushover. I’m not saying he’ll give you a free pair of glasses. He will, however, do his best to work with your budget and what he thinks is best for your needs, which he truly listens to. He knows what’s right for you, and he’ll help you make it happen. He hooked me up with the most amazing pair of prescription movie star shades of all time — for much less than everyone said it would cost. He took my requests into consideration and cut and colored the lenses like a genius (even though the so-​called lens experts said it couldn’t be done). I recommend him and his store wholeheartedly.

Wanted some smart lookin’ new frames so strolled in here before a session at Le Réservoir next door. I saw one pair that I loved, but they were a bit pricey. The sales woman was nice enough to tell me that if I came back on the weekend, there was a sale starting and I could get them for a better price: score.
Came back on Saturday afternoon and the place was hopping: people everywhere, dogs yapping, sales people scurrying around and me standing in the middle, salivating over the frames of my dreams that were now 150 $ cheaper than 4 days prior. Amid the chaos, I was helped within 1 minute by a guy with a smiling face and I didn’t feel rushed at all. I tried them on one last time, handed over my prescription and was told that they could be ready in 20 minutes: whaaaaaat?
I paid, they took some measurements and I went for a quick pint next door. Came back 20 minutes later, and the same red dog was still yapping, people were everywhere and they had my glasses ready: they fit perfectly, people compliment them constantly and I will definitely come back here again. Awesome experience, amazing staff and fun frames that I haven’t seen anywhere else in the city: rock on Harry Toulch, there’s a reason why you’ve been in business this long.
