i like the dollar store very much because you can find relatively what you need at a very inexpensive price. and quality isn’t so bad. of course, depending on what, the item may outlast its normal shelf life. every time i go, i’m always surprise to find things that become useful, sometimes not but most of the time yes. i found a cheap laptop tray that does it job despite being a bit wobbly. i got some kitchenware that does what its supposed to do and they are still holding on. the low point is it doesn’t have everything, it can be crowded and its a dollar store after all. quality suffers. the candies are inexpensive, great for kids who can’t tell the difference but as a grown up adult, i can tell that it doesn’t necessarily tasted as its supposed to. its like a bit off. nonetheless, dollarama has its used and its great that there is one nearby that has decent service and decent opening hours(tend to close later than the plaza st-hubert strip)

Yah, it’s a Dollarama. It’s big and clean and full of cheap stuff. It’s great for school supplies and holiday decorations — way cheaper then the nearby pharmacies. There are a bunch of cash registers and the staff are nice and efficient. The best thing for me is the location on St Hubert near the Friperie Renaissance and the Salvation Army and all the kooky other shops on St Hubert in case you need platform boots or an acetate wedding dress.

Really not the worst Dollarama around, The street recently changed their street parking laws and now drivers are allowed 15 free minutes on the right side. It’s ok to shop here for chocolates and candy since it’s cheaper than elsewhere, but I stay away from almost everything else, just too cheap and breaks. The lineups are not as bad as others, they have 4 to 6 cash registers at all times and there is space to move around.
