Waited for 10 minutes to pay $ 3 for an ice cream scoop the size of a golf ball and another $ 3 for tea that was hot enough to warrant a lawsuit. The ice cream was chalky, the tea bland. Will not be returning here. Will go elsewhere.

«geez, Mike, you’re still writing reviews for Montréal?» «I’ve only got a few left.» we decided it was imperative to get crepes in Old Montréal. walked through Place Jacques Cartier, saw this place had outdoor seating, and since it was a nice day, we invaded. I had an apricot crêpe. it was larger than the plate it came on. perfect consistency. two of my friends each had the nutella and maple syrup crepes. we all sampled each others’, they were all delicious. apricot had that nice bitter punch. outdoor seating on a nice day in a public square = jawesome. my only gripe would be pricing. 5 bucks for a crêpe is a bit steep. admittedly I am also not really an expert on the financial aspects of running a creperie, so perhaps that price is warranted. they also have some other baked goods, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and such. but really? not getting a crêpe at a place called Crepes Oh Folie is like going to Jerusalem and not visiting the Sex-a-teria.
