2nd stay at Château Lincoln over the last 3 years, spent 3 months. Not a palace but good value for money. The building is well located in downtown(2 minutes of walk from St-Catherine street, Sherbrooke, Guy, de la Montagne, Concordia University… 10 minutes from McGill University, Centre Bell and other Montréal main attractions). So, you will probably save on taxi. On the other hand, it’s located on a quiet street(Lincoln street) offering quite a reduced level of noise, especially at night. Great night security, hotel quality maintenance and the owner is on site all week long. Helpful staff, too. The exterior swimming pool is not really busy and you can relax after the day. However, avoid the place if looking for a party spot. The tenants/clients are mostly business workers, university students or newcomers to Montréal looking for a first place where to land and they are prompt to complain if there is any noise around. 4.5 stars
