Oh man BDP brings back so many memories of my student days. The McGill student body is probably the only reason BDP stays open. The bar is located in the heart of the McGill Ghetto and it is widely popular with the students. It’s a major dive bar and the only appeal to it is that the booze is cheap which is probably why they love it so much. It is the kind of place you come to as an undergraduate when all you care about is getting drunk and loads of people have stories of crazy, drunk nights that involve BDP. They have some beers on tap and sell affordable pitchers. Mixed drinks are pretty weak so best to avoid those and stick to beer if you can. They have a TV to show sports so you can catch the Habs playing here. Like I said it’s a big time student hangout so if you don’t want to be surrounded by drunk university students you should probably look elsewhere.

The dive-iest of dive bars. I love it for the cheap prices and the fact that you can almost guarantee to get a table, and the bartenders are good folks. Not a bad place to watch a game.

Rad bar. Shot tequila, slammed beer and threw up latkes outside the front door. Sick night.

Cheap beer, lots of cute guys from McGill… this is becoming the unofficial gay bar for McGill hotties… I love it… very popular among the jocks and the closeted guys

They let us put tables together and play beer pong. $ 12 pitcher of LBL, Bud, Bud Light $ 13 pitchers of Shock-Top, Alexander Keiths the pitchers were small though… i think 50oz Foosball table is missing a few balls. Jukebox!

McGilligan undergrad pub. You don’t smell the urine until you get to the back of the bar. Divy place. One pool table and you can challege your friends at foosball. They do have hard alcohol here, but most people just knock back pitchers of light beer. Expect to see drunk undergrads falling over each other making out by the end of the night. Uhh, I guess they have a kitchen and serve food? I would never eat here.

The«other» McGillian’s bar of choice(besides Gerts, and we don’t talk about Peel Pub). One of those places where it doesn’t seem right to order anything besides cheap beer, and then only by the pitcher. Bleue, Bud Lite, and 2 – 3 brands of Keith’s are the only beers on tap. I’m not convinced that they even stock hard liquor, though I imagine they must; similarly, they apparently have food, but I’ve never heard of anybody ordering it. Average prices. Bartenders are just barely polite enough.

Slightly scruffy but a fine low-key spot except for beer pong Tuesdays.
