Boutique de laines et École Les Tricoteuses du quartier

L’école de tricot et boutique de laines les Tricoteuses du quartier has recently moved a block up and to the other side of the street, permitting them to expand their stock and have more space for courses. There is a good variety of medium-​range wool and yarn, including Biscotte & cie, Berocco, Bergère de France, Lang, Patons, and a small selection of Cascade 220 (yay! This is hard to find in Montréal). There are also knitting accessories (Addi and Hiya Hiya needles — mostly long circulars for magic loop).
They offer knitting, crocheting, weaving, and pastel (drawing) courses, which I haven’t sampled. I have met lots of their knitting students at the monthly (first Sunday) Café Tricot and everybody seems to have enjoyed their courses. It’s a francophone milieu — mais ils sont patients avec mon accent anglo.
It is such a treat to have a knitting store in my very own neighbourhood.
