I had a horrible haircut else where earlier this month, had to wait for my hair to grow a lil to be able to fix that mistake, luckily Laura fixed it. Best haircut I ever had. Ask for Laura

Normally don’t write reviews, but have to give a special shoutout to Marion(spelling?) for doing a great job. Was really patient in working with me and was really nice.

I walked in a little hesitant. I’ve had good and bad haircuts from the new wave of Barber Shop. You wait in line and that kind of turned me off too, but I’m glad I stayed. I’d spotted Laura(super cool hair) when I first walked in and that’s the main reason I hung in there. «If she works here, they must give good haircuts,» being my thought process. By the luck of the draw, Laura was my stylist, barber, just cool person to talk with. She took her time, we had a nice chat about traveling, and she made my hair look better than places that charge 4 times as much in other cities. Thank you Laura! Whenever I’m in Montréal, I’ll be sure to stop in.

After 15 years of using a pair of clippers on my head — I decided to start growing back my hair. A buddy of mine recommended I try out Andies Barber Shop. I found it great because it so close to my office. I got lucky because of the weather and there was no one in the shop when I walked in. So I headed towards the 1st chair that was available. Laura had cut my hair. She listened to what styles I liked, and how long it had been since I had not been in a barber’s chair. I told her she had free reign — keep it short, but not too short. 20minutes later I had a clean + sharp haircut and a cool conversation at the same time. Other people talk about bad cuts they received. Laura has 10yrs experience and she did a great job. Try Andies, Ask for Laura.

I went here based on its positive reviews but left disappointed. The girl who cut my hair spent about 5 minutes on it and did a horrible job. She and I quote«will fix the line» in my hair but instead completely fucked it up. I will not be coming back here considering especially considering the fact that it cost $ 20 for a haircut that looks like a blind barber trainee did.

Very rarely will you come across a barbershop with great prices($ 20 for students), great service, impeccable attention to detail, friendly staff, as well as a clean and tasteful décor that makes you feel right at home. Did I mention they did an amazing job with my hair FAST too(under 20min)? One of the best barbershops/stylists I’ve ever tried, and certainly THE best for a mere $ 20. Props and shout-outs to my friend Suzin — I’m the 5th dude she’s referred to this shop!

Just like all the other reviews say, this is a great barber shop with friendly and helpful barbers and good prices. My barber was Laura(the red-haired, tattooed one), and she discussed some options and styles with me before my cut. Very helpful and very good advice, and interesting to talk to during the haircut too. I’ll definitely be going back.

Great cuts! Terrible at answering their phone! Biked across the city to arrive an hour before close and then they weren’t taking any more clients, not exactly ‘drop in’ service. Their Phone message said nothing about cut off times. Love this place but now this is the second time I’ve wasted a trip downtown so now I’m going to Blue Dog.

Took my boyfriend who never styles his hair. Only $ 20 for students and his hair finally looks trendy & clean, and the haircut doesn’t need every day styling. Nice interior too. Only thing that threw me off was Maxim magazine.

Very happy with the cut. English and French is spoken. It’s busy on a Saturday so expect a bit of a wait. My only thing left to be desired was I missed the neck shave the old Italian barbers do. Otherwise, great job.

I used to get my hair cut at a salon where I knew I could count on paying at least $ 40 for a simple fade and trim. I mean, it was a good fade and trim, but $ 40?! Seriously, that’s way too much. So I decided I should try something more along the lines of a traditional barbershop to save some cash. And then I found Andie’s. Andie’s is not a traditional barbershop, in the sense that you don’t show up and talk to some 70-year old Italian dude who’ll stare you dead in the eyes while giving you a military-grade flattop. No, it’s run by a few awesome and personable women who really know how to give a good haircut. Whether you want a classic cut or something more trendy, they’ll be able to hook you up no problem. And the best part: it’s super cheap, especially for students! Bottom line: if you’re looking for a cheap, convenient, and solid haircut in downtown Montréal, Andie’s is your best bet.

Popped in here for a quick buzz cut while visiting town and I have to say, I had a delightful experience. The young lady who cut my hair was friendly, efficient and professional. She had dyed red hair, glasses and tattoos and was seriously one of the nicest hair cutters I’ve ever met. Prices were reasonable(mine was $ 15 but I just got buzzed all over with clippers. other haircuts would cost more) and I was in and out quickly. Be careful you walk into the correct door… I accidentally went to the next door and ended up walking into a massage parlor!

Took me a while to find a good and affordable place to get my hair cut. The location is conveniently near my work downtown. The ladies there are bilingual and helpful with ideas on what to do with my hair. Plus it doesn’t hurt that the ambience is classy as well.

First time to Montréal, so… I was very scared of trying a new Barber since I’m very finicky about my fades. But, I didn’t have a choice since I was here for a month and my hair was already looking was a bit shaggy. I just couldn’t go a whole month looking bad… right?! lol! Anyways, I decided to look around the hotel I was staying at… I asked the locals and mostly recommended this place. So, I decided and said what the heck! I get there and I was greeted by three nice ladies that were cutting hair. Something I wasn’t expecting, I was expecting men since they state that they’re a Barbershop. Oh well, I still went with it… and to my surprise, the lady actually did an awesome job cutting my hair. Not only did I receive and awesome haircut… but, I was given some good coffee on the way out. Cool way to end my wonderful experience! :) I recommend this place!!! :)
