The Hunt is one of those TINY consignment store treasures that are rapidly disappearing from Montréal. Chock-​full of beautiful designer clothing, jewellery, handbags, shoes, and other accessories, you can spend a good hour or two browsing through the crowded racks, nooks, and crannies. The décor is warm and inviting, and recreates the effect of nosing around in your grandmother’s dressing room/​closet.
The staff is friendly, helpful, and non-​intrusive. Last year, I purchased a beautiful pair of leather ankle boots (unworn) for $ 80 — later on, I saw the same boots for sale downtown for around $ 400.
This shop may be out-​of-​the-​way for most, but it’s definitely worth a visit!
