Sweet Nails

This place doesn’t even deserve a star.
I requested a bio-​gel to be done.
It was my very first time there when the nail «professional» made my cuticles bleed in two spots, trying to stop the bleeding by stabbing her nails with a paper towel onto my fingers.
Secondly, I had my nail broken off when the gel was already on so the lady tried to glue it by inserting glue between my finger and a nail which caused my skin to stick together.
She tried to peel it off with tweezers and scrub It off with the machine, which hurt really bad !!!
I haven’t said anything until the point when the lady grabbed the airbrush machine and spray painted my entire hand and just laughed about it.
When she saw me not being impressed she started apologizing. I told her right there that I’m unsatisfied with her service.
When it came to the payment I got asked to pay the full price!
When I told the «professional» she did an awful job she told be she said sorry and that its my fault because my cuticles are dry! I’m addition she said she had a bad day so she can take it off for me and I can come back tomorrow??? After I just spent an hour and a half in pain???
At the very end I got told not to ever come back there again. And I won’t !
Please don’t ever go there! Save yourself time, hands, money and nerves.

This place looked quite busy when I came in on a Wednesday afternoon. I had a manicure and pedicure, as well as shellac removal.
I was expecting to have my pedicure done first, and then move to the table to have my manicure done. This is how I’ve had my mani-​pedis done in the past. I was surprised when one of the technicians sat down on my right side to start working on my manicure, while I was getting my pedicure from another technician. It seems like an efficient use of time to have both services done simultaneously, but it was actually uncomfortable because I was somewhat twisted to the side to allow the technician as much access as possible. There also wasn’t a wide flat surface available for my hands — I was holding them above my arm rest. As a result, I feel like my manicure wasn’t done as well as it could have been — the technician was a little sloppy in keeping the shape and lengths inconsistent on all my nails. I noticed afterwards that she hadn’t applied the polish carefully either, so there were gaps on the edges of my fingernails. On Day 1 of my manicure, it looked like Day 3 or 4! The polish application also isn’t very smooth. I really feel like these little issues could have been avoided had I sat down at the proper table for my manicure instead of stretching over my armrest.
My pedicure, on the other hand, was really well done. The technician was really attentive and focused. I would come back here just for those pedicures!

I have been going here since they opened and love it. I’m very nervous about getting my nails done by just anyone and they do a wonderful job I get compliments all the time. They are always up on the latest styles and colours. They also do my waxing and eyebrow tint I have tried other places and always regret it. Now I just stick to them. I bring my grandaughters there allot and they have a special chair just for little children so cute!
The shop is located in a wonderful area of streetsville nice shops and restaurants around.

favorite nail spot! I’m very picky about how my nails & pedicures are done so it was such a delight to stumble upon this salon! The ladies here do great acrylic/​gel/​shellac nails. I also love to sit back, enjoy the massage chair as my feet are carefully pedicured. I love that the place is always clean & ladies all wear gloves.
I have been to several other places in the GTA for nail services & have yet to find one as good. Prices are reasonable.
They also do great pedicures on men. My hubby enjoys it here as well.
I’ve had my eyebrows waxed here bc my aesthetician left the country & was very nervous about changing my usual salon (I’m also very picky about) but they were very well shaped, the wax was for sensitive skin & I loved how they turned out!
I call to reserve appointments here but I do see them have a lot of walk ins while I’m there. wait time is usually not too long (unless they will give u a specific time to return). services are always very speedy & I’ve never had a complaint!
