Second Cup

This has become a favorite and convenient hangout spot for me and my husband since it’s very close to our chiropractor location. I’ve been coming to this location since our Chiropractor sessions began in December to relax and grab a drink and I’ve been consistently satisfied with them everytime. This Second Cup is situated in the heart of Streetsville Mississauga and its architectural set-​up blends nicely with the surrounding neighborhood making you feel like you are on a road trip visiting a small town. Inside the coffee shop, they have comfortable seating and a lounge area with board games for any large groups who need a place to hangout and chill.
I was recently here on Monday night and as always, I ordered their camomile tea because I like their flavor, which seems to have a bit of a sweet honey flavor unlike other camomile tea, which can sometimes be on the bitter side. The drink only cost me about $ 2.50, which was reasonable compared to other places that would usually charge over $ 3 for a small sized tea. I also recommend their white hot chocolate, their chocolate brownie, and their chocolate chip and sea salt cookie. I would say that one can get the whole Starbucks experience here for a lot less money.
Customer service here has also been excellent as they create a very welcoming environment every time I have been here. For example, on Monday night, when I ordered my drink, the young man taking my order was not only polite but also made general small talk but just as a safety precaution since I’m skeptical of people I don’t know well, I made sure that my left hand wearing my wedding ring was in full view as my subtle way of setting boundaries, but then when I recall my past visits where I dealt with other servers, they also had a similar approach so in that case, they have a good customer service etiquette.
If you’re ever in Streetsville and need a place to kill some time, then I would highly recommend visiting Second Cup here.

Ever since moving back to Mississauga, I’ve been missing my go-​to-​café back in California. This Second Cup location, right in the heart of Streetsville, is pretty close to perfect:
* Great ambiance — the location of the store has a small town feel that makes it seem «not a chain», and the inside is quite cozy
* Excellent service — all the baristas are always smiling, friendly and pretty laid back.
* Enough outlets and free wi-​fi, and last but not least:
* Great cup of medium roast — Paradiso :)
It gets quite busy but never overwhelmingly so. If you’re just looking for a good place to read/​work from, this is a highly recommended! :)
