When I was at Salon Crave last Friday for a cut and highlights, I realized that I’ve been going there for about three years now and I never wrote a review. So here it is: Sandra is my hairdresser and I think she’s the best in the world! She’s young, hip and totally with it! I would usually go in and just get my layers cleaned up but, back in March, I thought, what the hell, give me a «chic bob» and she did just that! It’s so easy to maintain and I got so, so, so many compliments. I have like every flatiron, curling iron, styling tools, etc. under the sun and Sandra always shows me how to use them; albeit, I never get the same look as when she styles my hair. She’s so friendly and easy to talk to and, unlike my previous hairdresser, doesn’t insult me when I show up with split ends. The salon itself is very laid back and not the slightest bit pretentious. I’ve seen girls leaving Dino and Jerry’s chairs and they seem to do a good job as well. I see a lot of older ladies going in to get their hair done too. Prices are excellent, which makes it worth the drive out to Mississauga.

I have been here 3 times and I came home the first and second time feeling very satisfied. I’m 16 and I’ve always went to crappy cheap places to get my haircut so I was really looking forward to going to salon crave because its $ 40 dollars and hey, it should be worth it right. Well the third time I went I finally realized how HORRIBLE they cut my hair. It was nothing like what I had asked for, the cut was choppy, uneven and I even had to cut some pieces out that she missed when I examined it at home. I finally realized the other times I went, it was also choppy and unflattering and she didn’t really seem to know how to do those chic bobs or she just didn’t take me seriously since I’m young. But I also guess it’s my fault too, for not communicating my disatisfication to her. Overall, NOT a place for youth and definitely won’t be back.

I have long, thick hair and I walked out with a fantastic cut and colour for less than half of what I’ve normally paid in other salons. Sandra is awesome! :)

JUST got home from Salon Crave, and I am happy to say the reviews on here are honest and true. Jerry was wonderful and he was also a please to chat with! He took the time to do a consult first, being honest and give me recommendations that made sense for my look and hair type. I will be recommending this place to anyone in the area. My only constructive feedback would be he need to take more time shapooing my hair.

After recently moving back to the GTA I began searching for a place to get a hair cut that would have a stylist up to date with current trends, who would take note of what I was looking for, and would be reasonably priced. I found Salon Crave here on Unilocal and gave it a shot based on the great reviews I came across. Dino cut my hair and did a stellar job! I explained how my hair grows super fast and is really thick; he assured me of his experience cutting all different types of hair. He took my hair type into consideration to give me a cut that grew out well– Dino is an easy going guy who really knows what he’s doing. He also helped me choose a hair product that I like more than the one that I had been using. I’ve been back 3 times now, $ 25 for a great men’s haircut. I definitely recommend checking this place out!

Where do I begin? My husband and I booked appointments with this salon on Saturday since we’d be in the area, but everything we’d heard was that we’d be better off getting a cut in Toronto and that Mississauga is home to «mall salons». But apparently those people have never been to Salon Crave. This is a salon with quality equal(if not better, in some cases) to Toronto but the prices are better. I saw Sandra and my husband saw Jerry– both were excellent and did a fabulous job with our hair and the total was only $ 70. How crazy is THAT? Sandra listened to what I wanted and told me the absolute truth about what would look good or work with my hair type or not. She showed me tricks to blow drying and didn’t pressure me into coming back. We had such a good experience and the stylists were so genuine and experienced that we will be going back from now on. By appointment only and one should note they do not accept debit cards.(Credit is a go, though!)

I’ve been going to the same hairdresser all my life, only because I was afraid of venturing out into the world of over-priced haircuts. She’s always done a decent job, but I needed something different. I stumbled upon Salon Crave from some other reviews online and decided to give it a chance. I called to make an appointment on a Tuesday(they’re not open Sundays or Mondays), and they were booked for the whole week! I was in no rush, so I went ahead and booked for the following Tuesday. Dino, one of the owners of the store, cut my hair. I couldn’t believe how nice he was, he’s extremely down to earth and not at all intimidating or pretentious. I simply said that I wanted my hair shorter and a style that worked with the shape of my face — he did exactly that. He was very friendly and did such a great job with my hair — and the prices are fantastic! My haircut(no highlights or anything like that, just a cut) came to $ 40. The website lists the hours of operation and the price list, so you know what to expect before you go. I highly recommend this place! If you do go there, it’s in a plaza — look out for it or you’ll miss it(I drove past it twice, lol).

A haircut at Salon Crave, for the type of attention and experienced hairdressers you get, is a complete steal for a haircut at $ 50. I got my hair cut my Jerry, one of the owners of this little salon who’s been cutting hair for the past 18 years. He washed dried and completely straightened my hair before cutting it. He listened and understood what i wanted and gave me exactly the cut I was going for. Getting an appointment is hard on a short notice here, as I think there are only 3 stylists/colourists working here, so call around 3 weeks ahead of time. If I’m going for a more daring change in my hairstyle I know I’ll go back to this place, I trust this place to not disappoint me.
