Havana Castle Cigars & Accessories

I am very pleased with the service I received at this cigar shop. I love my Nicaraguan cigars and they helped me to a selection of there house cigars. One of the freshest cigars I have smoked. These guys are super friendly and will definitely come back due to their amazing customer service and great cigar selection.

Ray was a great help in choosing a cigar. I am more of a pipe smoker than cigars but the pipe tobacco selection was pretty small. The humidor is a small to medium size but they have a great selection to choose from. The shop is clean and organized with plenty of cigar accessories.

I stopped in this place after checking into my hotel and let’s just say this place won me over will be back there for a few more cigars and people watching out front. The retired police officer and Buddy were great guys. Looking forward to coming back soon.

While wandering the busy streets of Port Credit over the weekend, and old familiar craving came over me. The weather was hot, the streets were buzzing and I really wanted to treat myself to a cigar without breaking the bank (and without smoking a crap cigar).
I’d been meaning to check out Havana Castle since it opened nearly a year ago, but either never had the time or opportunity. Now I found myself out front of their doors with time to spare — hooray! So I went in and WOW, I know where they’ve been sending all the extra cigars during the US/​Cuba trade embargo — this place is stacked! Wall to wall cigars and cigar accessories as well as, hookahs, and the occasional «herbal» smoking appliance. But don’t get me wrong, this is no head shop, this is a premium cigar joint.
Even their walk-​in humidor was massive and lined with the finest in every kind and size (and price point) cigar an aficionado (or aspiring one like myself) could hope for. I got to talking to the owner, who the average person might seem a little kurt, but once you got him talking he was the nicest and friendliest business owner I’ve met in awhile. He helped me find the perfect cigar for my budget and taste, before telling me about how much he loves his regular customers and how proud he is that these regulars are great people — it’s true! He’s got a great cast of gentlemen sitting out front swapping stories and smoking stogies, I swear it’s like what I imagine old Havana to be like!

Second time at the location and it will be the last. Both times I had a inquiry and it was very hard to get the person’s, who apparently works there, attention because he is eather busy on the phone or busy talking to his friends that come visit. Both times when I did get an answer it was very short and cold of an answer, and worst of all-​not informative. Horrible customer service. Not helpful at all. If you are looking to get some info regarding products b fore you buy them then this is NOT the place for you. These people don’t seem to appreciate any business they get and seem to be content with selling their cheapest $ 3 cigars to the port credit locals because they keep the person who works there entertained (just my opinion). This establishment will never get my business again.

Excellent service, great selection and fair prices. If you’re a complete noob they will help you out. I’ve been going there almost twice a week now since they opened and I have nothing but good things to say about this place.
