Capitol Banquet Centre

I was attending a wedding function here. The hall is decent and is not that new in the market. The chandeliers were pretty impressive. They also provided a very nice area for maghrib prayers with carpets and everything.
The servers were friendly and passing on the appetizers. The overall food experience was the best as it was blend food. The manager was their as well when the food was being served to check on things.
The lobby is average and nothing impressive. The sound system and lighting was clear and good. There is plenty of parking as well.

We attended a Mehndi here last night. As far as Mehndis go — probably the funnest one I have ever been to as these Pakistanis know how to dance. But I think the fun had more to do with the dance talent of the crowd rather than the Banquet Hall itself.
So at first glance — they ran out of parking in the main lot so we had to park in the secondary one. The lobby was okay but not super glamorous. The bathrooms were akin to McDonald’s bathrooms. The tables, linens, and centre pieces were mediocre. I was impressed by the chandelier in the hall. But the ceiling is made up of some kind of unattractive tiling — they had attempted to cover it up with draping but only managed to drape about ¼ of the tiling. The backdrop the couple used was some colourful cloths but no flowers or décor or anything. The food was okay — I think they were going for a breakfast theme? But the ice cream after the meal was unpalatable.
The sound system and lighting was decent — which was a must for this crowd as the music was blaring for most of the night for the choreographed dances and dance party. Not the best venue I’ve experienced for a Wedding related event. But I think it’s the crowd that matters at the end, not the food or décor.

The Capitol Banquet hall made all of our wedding dreams come true. The StarLight room was beautiful, and the staff was professional and friendly. No matter what we wanted in terms of menu, they did everything in their power to accommodate us. I cannot start to express my gratitude for this hall. If you need a professional group of people to handle your event then this is the place for you. From the quality of food to the building and staff this is a truly excellent place to host your event !! No matter what may come they are prepared to support you in every way. They will make all the stops to ensure your event is flawless.
