I brought my second hand Pnina Tornai wedding dress to Pom for repairs and fitting. She did an incredible job! Even improved the original design by reworking the skirt!!! Her prices and workmanship is really outstanding. She is so sweet and passionate you can really trust that she will do amazing work. The more time she has, the cheaper the price, so give her lots of time to work on it(6 – 8 months if you can). Highly recommend going to her instead of a bridal shop.

Like the other reviewers, I found Pom to be an excellent seamstress and extremely nice and friendly. I came to Pom on the recommendation of my make up artist. I first visited Pom in March 2015 to start altering my wedding dress for my June 2015 wedding. She also altered two other dresses for me. My wedding dress was much too large and had to be sized down. She did a wonderful job and did not ruin any of the beading and embroidery that covers my entire dress. Pom also will make suggestions to make your dress even better. Two of my bridesmaids also brought their dresses to Pom and they were happy with the result. I found her price very reasonable, especially as I met with her quite a number of times since I lived close by. Pom responds to email very quickly and will take photos of you to help you see how the dress is coming along! She is quite talkative so expect to meet 45 mins to an hour :)

Pom is absolutely amazing, as a seamstress and as a person. I only had to visit her 3 times to get my wedding dress altered. I didn’t have that many stylistic requirements besides shortening the front hem. She found things in the dress structure that needed to be fixed(it was bought second hand) and offered do some of them for free because I didn’t request/know about them. She is definitely knowledgeable in dress alterations and even period gowns. The best way to contact Pom is via email, which she checks and responds to very quickly. When I first called her, she asked that I email her with a photo of myself in the dress, wedding date and contact information. From the photo, she was able to give a rough estimate of how much she would charge. It really impressed me that it wasn’t far off from how much I actually paid her in the end. You will be required to give her a deposit on your first visit but she was pretty relaxed about how much you can pay. Each visit is about 45 minutes and I got to see her work on some final touches on my last visit. Her prices were very reasonable and she is an extremely skilled and efficient worker. I highly recommend her and she was definitely an enjoyable part of my wedding planning process.
