The food is good here. The service not so much. The mainlanders who hang out here make everything even worse with their screaming demons running around and climbing on everything.

The manager of this place,(I didn’t get her name, she’s a black lady — Jan 30, 2016 @ 11:30pm) needs to be in review. It is really upsetting because her unprofessional attitude towards customers and her colleagues creates a negative image for McDonald’s as a whole.

This has to be one of the worse managed. Their washroom was filthy. Service is very rude and when you order a few combos and someone wants a water, they are charged a dollar for a cup«due to the dollar drink days.. they do not provide water to patrons» was the official line. If they were not locacared inside a community centre. I would not expect this type of management to last very long

I tried to give this McD a second chance but I have to agree with other reviewers: this mcD is awful. The person at the Drive-through never understands what you’re ordering so you end up yelling at the speaker several times to get your order in, just to have the wrong thing given to you anyhow. Today we waited 15 min between placing our order and receiving it and found out when we got home that we go two boy happy meal toys for our two daughters. Also forgot the BBQ sauce. Fail.

This location used to be decorated with a movie theme, making the store looks worlds apart from other McDonald’s. With the arrival of the McCafe, it is renovated to look just like other McDonald’s. I kind of miss the old romantic and unique look. The food and coffee taste just like other McDonald’s.

Why cant I give zero stars? This location is horrible, drive through staff will mess up your order, they have ad hoc pricing, charge you extra for say adding extra sauce to an item but never do, cannot make coffee well, and the temperature of the food is pretty well ‘cool’. If you have a bad experience at the Milliken Mills McDonalds, please complain to management/the organization or use the McDonalds at Markham Rd/14th ave.

This McD’s has been here for as long as I have moved here in Markham 16 years ago. It’s definitely a popular spot as it is centrally located within a community centre. Students from the local high school crowd here during lunch or to get a quick eat/drink during study session from the library. Parents bring their kids after extra-curricular activities(swimming, indoor soccer, or classes all held within the community centre). It gets pretty crazy during the summer, as summer camps are always running throughout July and August. We had all enjoyed our share of Happy Meals when we were young, but I’m not going to dwell into the food at McD’s. I still have McD’s cravings from the time to time. Those morning hash browns and hot cakes are just too good to resist sometimes. Recently renovated to make room for the addition of McCafe. McD’s didn’t stop at making ‘premium brewed coffee,’ it has now expanded to Mocha, Americano, Cappuccino, Deluxe Hot Chocolate, and Espresso. It was a late night, so I ordered the Deluxe Hot Chocolate(Small — $ 1.99) with skim milk. It is deluxe of the added whipped cream on your drink, similar to the ‘surpreme’ option at Timmies. It tasted like hot chocolate packets that I make at home. And the amount of milk they put in just offsets the taste, making it very bland. Note: I noticed many of the food items have raised $ 0.20−0.30, possibly because of the newly installed coffee machines at this location.

I’m not a big McD’s fan at all, but this location has taken about about 90% of all my McDonald’s orders… being right beside my old high school and a few minutes from my house. Considering its a franchise, there’s a few things that set each location apart. Service is key, cleanliness is also very important, and the physical attributes of the place affects the rating as well. They have a(small) kids play place which is good if you’ve got young ones, keeps them busy. I wouldn’t say the place is very clean, looks like they reuse their oil, and could scrub down the tables a little more often. The service at this location is horrible. I can’t stand it. The only thing I’ll get from McD’s at this point in life is a large double double coffee, and to deal with atrocious service when all I want is a coffee, is ridiculous. PS– I forgot to mention, the drive-thru is closed at 11pm. Seriously, that’s so weak.
