Boston Pizza

I came here with my friend for dinner on Saturday around 5:30 PM. It was still pretty early so we were seated right away. Our server was expressionless and very abrupt the entire experience. She also did not seem to be knowledgeable on food items or just didn’t care. When I asked her to describe the dip for the cactus cut potatoes, she said it was like a «thick white sauce.» I don’t know about you but that doesn’t sound appetizing to me and is literally the grossest description you could give to any food item. We ordered it anyways because everyone seems to love it, but I didn’t think it was worth ~$ 10. I ordered a lemonade to drink; it was fine the first glass but when I got a refill, the second one tasted so diluted, it was more like lemon water than lemonade. Anyways, I order the Spicy Sausage Arrabiata Penne and my friend got the Mediterranean Vegetable Linguine. They both came in MASSIVE portions so we definitely got our bang for our buck. For dessert, we shared the Panookie, which was super delicious. The cold ice cream paired with the warm cookie was heavenly. Overall, the food was very tasty and their portion sizes are my kinda sizes (lunch tomorrow!). I wish the server was better, but you can’t win ‘em all!

This location has shown improvements the last few times we were in. There is a new server we had the last few times, and he brings refills and is quick and efficient. The Perogie Pizza was cooked to perfection, and they change the rest of the menu quite often and have something for everyone. The New York Style Cheesecake is a perfect ending to a meal drizzled in Caramel Sauce, and we added a side of Ice cream. We will go back to this location and hope the service stays consistent.

I will make this short. The place was just like every other Boston pizza which is good. My server was ok. My issue is Cold food, tasteless food. Way way over priced, a forgetful server and verry verry cramped table due to a dinner party. I ordered food that I didnt receive and when told it was on the house I was chrged for the ice cold shimp skewer.

We came on a tuesday night during the Christmas holidays and to my surprise they weren’t too busy at all, we came around 6 and were seated in a nice booth by the kitchen right away. The service was excellent and the lady came right out with drinks and menu’s, they were very attentive with free refills whenever needed as well. Our starter, Caesar salad was ready quickly and tasted great. I ordered the Jambalaya Fettucini and my girlfriend got the Shrimp Penne dish, both tasted really good although they could have had a bit more flavour (and spice on the Jambalaya) but all and all they were well worth the money. Oh and make sure you come on pasta Tuesday though because all gourmet pasta’s are only $ 9.75!
