The power of the Internet (and my persistence)!
I wasn’t convinced that the places in town offering couples massage are all charging $ 200+ for 2 ppl. We weren’t looking for a fancy romantic place but one that can do the job well — a massage that takes out our knots and relieves our sore and tense muscles. So I googled and googled some more until I found this day spa. This place is simplistic but clean. Accord to the receptionist, it’s been in business for 2 years. I was surprised no one has listed it on Unilocal so here’s its first review!
I booked on a Tuesday for a Thursday 90 min doubles massage. They offered two types of massage: Swedish or Deep Tissue, so I chose the latter. The price was $ 135 for Swedish and $ 156 for Deep Tissue, for 2 people. Their massage room was a bit small and they could use warmer lighting, but again, what we cared most was the massage pressure and technique. Danielle and Kristen worked on us and did a great job. We like pressure and they gave us just enough of it. They managed to keep my long hair away from the massage the whole time so I could still go out and not look like a mad woman afterwards. Haha.
We felt relaxed and will come back next time we’re in town.
