Noma Japanese Restaurant

My husband and I love this place! The service is incredibly friendly, and the food has always been fresh! We stumbled across this place on Unilocal and had to check it out, the reviews don’t lie. We will definitely be back.

Amazing! The best sushi between Seattle and Vancouver. The food is fresh, the service is great, and the prices are fair. Worth the border crossing and two hour round trip from Bellingham.

This was probably… my third or fourth visit? Always had a really great experience so we decided to come here before going to the movies. Came on a Tuesday night at around 7pm, and got seated right away as there was an available table! We were asked whether we preferred water or tea (green, I think?) and then had some time to decide what we wanted.
Customer Service: 4.5÷5 — really great! Not really much to add, they greeted us right as we entered and then checked in on us a few times throughout the meal. Not full marks cause they missed a few things that we ordered and we had to remind them, but they brought it out really quickly so it was all good!
Food: ⁵⁄₅ — absolutely amazing! If even a choice, I will always choose to come here! We ordered almost every vegetarian option available, aside from the tofu (not a huge fan of their tofu, not going to lie, it’s too sticky/​doughy), and it was fantastic!
Ambiance: ⁵⁄₅ — relaxing music, not crazy loud, tables are comfortably seated away from one another (about 6 tables that seat 4 each and 2 tables that seat 2 each), and then the bar seats five people. Washroom was clean, which is always good, and to top things off, they had the hockey game on!

My new favourite lunch spot in Langley. Close to my office, super clean, décor is very nice, service is adequate … Food presentation is fantastic ! Flavours are solid and portion size is very satisfying. Recommend coming here for rolls with friends as the pieces are large so you want to try different things … It’s my first time here and I’m impressed.

This was a tasty late night meal. My udon was filling and the broth was flavourful. I would prefer the tempura to be served on the side to prevent it from getting soggy fast.
Service was fast and somewhat lacking. The staff was a bit preoccupied with closing the place down and eating their dinner. Food was dropped soon after our order was placed. My tea cup was left empty. Good thing I had broth to sip on.

The service is definitely not the greatest but the food is so good that I keep going back on a weekly basis.

Fresh, delicious, quality sushi. Not overpriced. They have a great selection of special rolls. One of the best sushi places in all of BC!

Mediocre service but great food. The vegetable roll was presented beautifully with spring mix in it which was a nice touch. Very busy during lunchtime. Will try this place again for take out as they had some interesting rolls on the menu that piqued my interest.

Some of the best tuna sashimi I have had in a long time. Also had the salmon sashimi, which was great, and the rainbow roll. The agedashi tofu was also delicious. The service was good and the restaurant itself is really cute. There is so much decent sushi around these parts that you kind of start to take it for granted and it takes a lot for a place to stand out. Noma was memorable and I will definitely return.

Just moved the the area and this will definitely be my new regular sushi place!
Everything is well priced, tons of variety, staff is very pleasant and the food is delicious!

Looking around Walnut Grove for a sushi place on a Sunday isn’t easy. Thanks to Unilocal I found that this was pretty much our only option. We were not disappointed. I only did take-​out, but got six rolls for a party. Everyone loved the sushi.
The cucumber was cut length-​wise, which made it more crunchy and tasty than the usual chunks I see elsewhere. The avocado was fresh and flavorful.
I asked about a custom roll and they accommodated it without a problem — and for a reasonable price. That roll was extremely tasty with cucumber, cream cheese and tempura crumbs.
We will definitely be going back since the location is convenient and they have good hours.

This place is delish! I got lost finding it, not sure if it was my phone acting up or the address is incorrect but it’s easy to find. Should’ve just used my own sense of direction and not a gps. My roll was soooo yummy and even the Cali roll was excellent. There’s so many choices I could barely decide!

This place has fantastic sushi… prices are reasonable and there’s always a free treat. The spicy Ichi is my favorite roll :)

We love our new very local Japanese Sushi Bar. While it’s slightly more expensive for this cuisine in this city it’s worth every extra cent. Delicious take out and a cozy eat-​in place. Best of all is the food (duh). Seriously though this is the best restaurant for its cuisine in the area.

Fresh clean atmosphere! The dishes are unique and the décor is modern. The Salmon avocado sashimi appy in ponzu sauce was awesome! Philly Roll and Paradise Roll also good! Friendly staff/​owners too. We felt comfy with our baby there and they even provided us with a plastic plate and utensils for here. We will be back! Best sushi in Langley!

Two words. Crispy roll!
Their crispy roll is not only huge, but extremely flavor packed! Seasoning salt and honey mustard kind of a taste. SO great! Only $ 8.95.

Crispy roll is an 8-​piece dynamite roll will tempura crisps on top. Seasoning salt gives it a nice kick. Unagi sauce and honey mustard drizzle on top. Amazing!

The newest sushi joint in town is open and is it ever good. The moment you walk in the décor is great. The floor is painted to resemble a koi pond. The servers are very polite and friendly. The sushi… Amazing. It is fresh, plated beautifully and tastes good. Prices are decent. It’s never to busy in there. Which is nice but with all the new development around it will surly do
also really nice to see the sushi makers say hello and goodbye to you. Just a great place for a family sushi night.
