3+ stars for me. Can’t quite give it 4 stars, but it is better than a 3 star place. I have come here with co-workers a lot over the years to have the lunch specials and they are so consistent with the food. The $ 10 lunch special comes with a spring roll and a small salad. If you are craving Thai food, and in the area, this is a good spot to try.

Red curry wasn’t bad, not impressed with the portion size for lunch. Wish they had yellow curry.

My experience wasn’t as radiant as the other viewers. The service was a little slow, my Pad Thai was chewy and nothing special. The room was clean, but so are most newish restaurants. Not worth traveling for, in my opinion, but all the positive reviews make me want to try it again.

We popped into Bangkok Kitchen last minute; after looking on Unilocal for Thai near our location. Great food, flavorful, fresh & fast. We had pad Thai & vegetarian red curry with rice. DELICIOUS!!! They get one less star because salad rolls aren’t on the menu.

One of the things I miss about BC… Best massaman I’ve had to date. Go here and eat with confidence…

Thai in Walnut Grove! I have been watching their space anxiously for a while, awaiting that day when it would finally say OPEN! That day finally arrived last week, and I pounced, like a hungry tarantula on a cricket… or something to that effect. I only had time to try one entrée which was their cashew and chicken dish. Nice fresh veggies, the chicken was great, and lots of cashews. Flavour? Delicious! However, it wasn’t spicy like I am used to from other Thai restaurants, I’ll have to ask next time to make it spicy. I also had Thai Iced Tea, which I hadn’t had before. I asked what was different about it, he said it was more sweet/concentrated and it was made from tea from Thailand. The spices in it reminded me of Horchata… it was good, and had a twist of lime as well. Looking forward to going back and trying more. Only thing that threw me off is there was no background music at all, maybe they just haven’t set it up yet, being opening week?
