I found Dr. Susan as I needed help in saying good bye to my beloved dog. He got sick very quickly and it was time to let him go. We were referred to a different home doctor but alas, she was away until the following Tuesday which would have been too late. I emailed Susan late one Wednesday night and she got back to me just after 10 pm with some possible dates on Friday and Saturday. From there, we corresponded for three more days through me getting cold feet and changing dates, wanting to cancel all together on and on. She was incredibly patient and flexible through my craziness. She always emailed me back with lengthy thoughtful insights without pressuring us in any way. When the day finally came, she was so gentle and caring for all of us and made the most difficult day of my life so far as calm as possible. If you live in Richmond/​Ladner area, she can come for regular vet stuff but she will go further if you need help in putting down your loved one. I couldn’t have asked for better and she restored my faith in vets after my terrible past experiences with many. (22 of 30)
