King’s Riding Golf Club is part of the Clublink network of golf clubs. One of the advantages of this is that they only book one wedding a night, per venue. So that was important to me, so that meant that 1. I wasn’t sharing my reception site with another wedding that night and 2. I didn’t have to search of another spot for pictures after my wedding ceremony. So I may be a little biased here, since I did have my wedding here recently, but in the post wedding reception high, I am still extremely happy with the venue in general. Pricing for our wedding, at least I though was pretty decent, not too over the top as some other places. We had gone with a set menu package, which had included a 4 hour basic bar package, which was 1 hr cocktail bar and 3 hour post reception bar, as well as a 3 course meal; which we had upgraded to add an additional course. The staff here was simply amazing and we were so well cared for. There were a few hiccups along the way, with two changes in our contact point at the golf club, but overall, the staff has kept us informed and were very prompt in their communications to us, during the entire process and even on the day of the wedding, everything went very smoothly. The food was surprisingly very good and decently portioned, if not generously portioned, for everyone, most of our guests had actually commented on the fact that the food was quite decent. The chef here is amazing, and I was especially impressed with their ability to get all the food out to the tables fairly quickly and efficiently, without too much delay. The only quibble is that kid’s meal dessert(chocolate cookie stack) was sooo impressive that the adults were a little bit green with envy. Size wise, this place is perfect for a mid-sized wedding, I would say if you are looking for a venue that is for between 100 to 180 guests without the room feeling too tight. I liked the fact that the room was one giant rectangle with large windows all around the room, so it was bright. The patio area is a bit small and it isn’t heated. We didn’t get a chance to use it, because it was small and the day of our wedding, it was a bit too cold to have cocktails out there. So we ended up opening the doors early to the dining room, but other wise we had guests milling around the hallway. But it worked out and for us, the small balcony wasn’t that big of a deal. Overall, I am so happy with the place. Food was good, Staff here was very professional, and they know how make these events go smoothly.
