I absolutely miss coming to this place! And I am glad to say that nothing has changed. I used to live in the apartment that it’s connected too when I was still studying. They offer a generous portion of food and their sauces are fantastic. I always go for the chicken shawarma rice dinner which also comes with a drink and a pita. The sauce and chicken is very flavourful and tender. 5 Stars all the way!

This is by far my favorite place in Hamilton /Dundas to visit. $ 10 for a chicken shawarma rice dinner that is over loaded with goodness… The guy that owns this place is the Boss, after a few visits he memorizes your order and just makes it as you acknowledge him and say Hi. If he knows you well enough you can even pay for your food after instead of before love this place.

Honestly, I love this stuff so much. What am I talking about? The CHICKENANDRICE combo. The white sauce and red sauce nicely drizzled on top with fresh Salad on side and two warm pitas –it is my favourite thing to eat EVER. I’m from Toronto and go to mcmaster(but am on internship right now:/), I literally crave for this stuff everyday in Toronto(there’s like no middle eastern place like it in the city that uses white sauce and red sauce generously like Sana grill). Can’t wait to go back to fourth year –you can guess the first thing I’m eating when I go back !!

I actually thought Sana Grill is pretty decent compared to the reviews I have been reading. Sana Grill is located right under West Village Suites, parking is at West Village Suites. We got the Steak Rice combo and the Chicken Poutine and got it to go, which came in a styrofoam box. The styrofoam box was filled to the top! The steak rice combo was delicious. For $ 10.40, there was rice, seasoned steak(I’d call it beef slices), a salad, pop and two pitas. The rice was a little hard for my preference and there was too much sauce as well which made the rice a little spicy and soggy. Overall, it tasted fairly savoury for me. The Chicken Poutine was $ 7.52 and it was sprinkled with Shwarma chicken, french fries, cheese and their white and red speciality sauce again. I liked the fries a lot because they were thin cut. However, like the steak, I thought they drizzled a little too much sauce on top. Maybe giving the sauce on the side might be a better option in the future, depending what the customer’s preference is.

Pretty gross. The chicken and rice combo platter was covered in so much sauce, you couldn’t even tell what kind of meat it is. Completely tasteless meat. The white sauce had decent flavour. They didn’t even know what was on their online menu and didn’t have some of those items. What the heck? Stay away. Better shawarma plenty of other places.

There’s no way someone drove from Toronto for this place and was happy about it. First of all, my $ 6 bought me a tiny fist-sized pita filled with two cubes of tomato, a pinch of iceberg lettuce, a tablespoon of onions, shredded chicken, and lots of white sauce. It was a grand disappointment. The only reason I might go back is to order a chicken shawarma and take a photograph of the contents. It was laughable. The taste wasn’t great. They drown it in sauce, so you’re tasting a lot of garlic and little else. Oh, and the people working there should probably have uniforms, or at least shirts identifying that they work there. I wasn’t sure if the two guys in the back wearing Tapout shirts were employees or just friends of the server.

Amazing shwarma. We drove from Toronto to Hamilton just for this place. Great portions. Great price. Worth the drive!
