Twice The Deal Pizza

When buying pizza this is generally where I go. Probably the best prices in town (20 $ for 2 xtra large and 3 topics on each with garlic sauce). Quality is good, and I like the sauce. Service is always friendly.

We’ve got a lot of choice when it comes to pizza in Georgetown and I’d say that Twice the Deal is up there with the best of them. The medium special coming in at $ 9 (tax included) with 3 toppings and a dipping sauce is a hard deal to beat. Pizza is always delivered hot with fresh ingredients and a nice soft crust. This location is always clean and the staff always friendly. I’d recommend Twice the Deal.

Disgusted with the customer service, they changed policy’s overnight regarding toppings and pizza creation. The once fantastic Godzilla deal is now a mockery of pizza deals. The gentleman on the phone tried explaining to me how extra cheese counts as a «double topping». With the deal you get 2 extra large pizza’s with three toppings, I have ordered this countless times for Friday work lunches for my coworkers and I, never have I been double charged for extra cheese when it applied towards one of my three toppings. That’s greedy and unacceptable. I tried letting reason with me but his sole excuse was «it counts as a double topping» I countered with «if cheese alone does not count as a topping how does extra cheese count as a double?» To which he replied the exact same response over and over. I will never eat at this location again. I watch my bills and receipts and noticed a slight increase in price over time which I understand due to the costs in business going up but this is a ridiculous grotesque violation of proper treatment of long time customers in favour of an extra buck or two. This business is not suffering so a policy change like this is just a money grab. Unacceptable, I’d rather give my money to business who cares about their customers.
