I bought a TV recently from best buy. Smart TV new model blah balh all the bells and whistle that were offered for the 2013 year by sumsung. It lasted 6 and a half weeks then stopped working. Not at all what I am used to getting from a TV. Lucky I still have my old TV which is from 1991RCA brand and still works without issue. We have it up and running right now in fact with the broken 6 and a half week TV sitting broken beside it. Sorry for the long intro. I had to set the stage. I called sunsung support they put a support ticket in with Pyxis that night and the next morning first thing I got a call from Pyxis. They came by a few hours later and did some trouble shooting and ordered parts and will be back. I am sure they will have my issue fixed and change it all to samsung as it is under warrenty. Thank you Pyxis for great service and dam you samsung for making a product that did not last. Glad I still have my 1991 rca to watch tonight.

I phoned this local company in hopes of finding a replacement lightbulb for my Sony LCD Projection TV. It’s a Saturday morning and the guy answers and tells me he definitely doesn’t have any Sony brands. He tells me he can order it if I wanted. Now, to me, it sounds like I’ve disturbed him from something because he’s not being rather friendly. So I ask him, how can I tell what kind of bulb I need, he says I’ll need the model of the TV. I reply to him that I’m in front of the TV and I’d like to put an order in for one but he kind of, sighs and says he’s in the middle of something and he’s up in the valley. I thought I was calling his business phone, so I ask him, when is a good time to call back. He tells me in a couple of hours. I may have been interested in calling him back if he sounded a little more professional and didn’t brush me off. I quickly went online to and found the same model bulb for half the cost Pyxis was offering and delivered right to my door. No thank you Pyxis. Customer service goes a long way. I want to support local businesses as much as the next person but if they don’t really want to help me, then I’ll take my $$$ elsewhere. Pass.
