I heard metro has the best garlic fingers. I would like to make a HUGE objection. Ordered garlic fingers and a pizza. They said 30 to 40 minutes. Took an hour 10. Maybe this explains why the garlic fingers tasted like cardboard. Completely cold, like they set on the counter all day. They were among the wrong, untasteful, not cheesy and cold. The donair was dripping in sauce and equally distasteful. I called to complain about how cold and rotten the food was. I was put on hold for 10 mins the. Someone came back and took my info to say their manager would call me back. Needless to say — no call back. Did I mention this order came to $ 40, for garlic fingers and a donair… despite me questioning the price and getting no response.

great for a solid take-out pie. their whole wheat crust is really tasty, unlike just about every other whole wheat crust i’ve had. with pizza pizza creeping up near $ 30 after tax, delivery and tip for a delivery pie, this is a really smart bet if you live in walking distance(and with the many condos, apts and homes in the area, i bet some of you do :))

Love this place. It’s directly across the street from me, which is just stupidly convenient. I used to live on North Street and thought that having a few other places nearby spoiled me, but Metro Pizza has them beaten when it comes to quality. Their pizzas are very tasty if you order for pickup. I say this because their individual slices can leave a little to be desired and I’ve never ordered for delivery(would be funny to do so since it would go, «Okay, your address?» «Um, look out your window. Yeah, that’s me waving to you.» If you order for pickup, you’ll be pleasantly surprised with quite a tasty pizza. The sauce is much more flavourful than what you get at most pizza places, and the crust has this wonderfully soft texture and great taste. The toppings are added generously and with care, so you won’t get anything falling off of your pizza even if you order a good amount of toppings. The staff is really friendly. I’ve interacted with three(maybe four?) different people behind the counter and they’re all extremely friendly and all serve you with a smile or and/or a great attitude. These truly are great people, and the quality of the service is reflected in the pizza. Service is also VERY good at Metro Pizza. I find that, on average, wait times on larger pizzas are typically 15 – 20 minutes shorter at Metro Pizza than elsewhere. I even ordered a platter of food for pickup once and do you know what they said? That it would be ready in five minutes. FIVEMINUTES! The staff at Metro Pizza know their trade and they know it well! They should rename their joint to be called Roadrunner Pizza, because they’re just that quick. A+ pizza joint. If you’re ever on or near Lady Hammond, this is the place to order from.

Metro Pizza is a great neighbourhood pizza joint. It is especially good for the late night home. Or when you stumble down the street from the pub. Here you will get your regular pizza. Full cheese and regular crust. You can get your choice of reg or whole wheat crust. Staff is nice,. It is not my regular spot, but I have grabbed a pizza from here on occasion. They are opened until 3:00 am on Friday and Saturday. You can order a slice as well, or maybe you want to go for the 2lb donair. I just can not imagine finishing that. But I am sure, someone has!

As always metro pizza delivers a great pie. Want real bacon on your pie? That comes standard here. Great service and even better food!
