My wife and I decided to go because it is fairly close. Service was reasonable however, I ordered a Cesar and the bartender poured a shot in the glass and filled with watered down Clamato, no Worcestershire sauce and no Tobacco(5.99). My wife ordered wings which looked reheated from three days ago(11.99) and I had Thai haddock… smallest portion of fish I have ever gotten and a terrible cold salad also 11.99. Conclusion… NEVERAGAIN

Really good vegetarian burger and onion rings. Fun for kids at the bar, eating peanuts and chucking the shells on the floor. Our amazing waitress(Amber) gave us fantastic service, despite a busy Friday night and a nasty manager. She was so good with the kids and making sure our meal was a good experience.

poor quality food, worst customer service I have ever experienced. Manager is overly rude and condescending(he was actually a total joke) I could say sooooo much more but then I would be on his level. It seems like owners have no restaurant experience as they don’t have a clue about food quality or customer service. Don’t waste your time and money here

Too bad the option doesn’t provide for less than one star. Service is the downfall of this location. I sat in the bar area and the waitress walked by me twice without acknowledging me. The second pass was to seat three people who came on after me who she then went on to serve. I went down the street to Turtle Jack’s… Service and food was great!

After a great time at the African Lion Safari near Cambridge, my family and I started our drive north towards the Bruce Peninsula. We didn’t make it far before it was time to stop for dinner. With no dinner plans scheduled we spotted Crabby Joe’s Tap & Grill in Guelph along our route and stopped in for a drink and a bite to eat. Crabby Joe’s is an Ontario chain of about three dozen restaurants, started in 1996 and expanding each year. We arrived right at 6pm and found a relatively quiet restaurant, though there were already a few tables full of kids, taking care of their«Kids Eat Free» special on Sundays. The draft list was full of a few names I’ve never heard of, but looking back it seems that most were likely brands of Molson Coors. I tried the Rickard’s Red, while my wife went with the Rickard’s White. Neither were anything special, though I’m reading that when the Red was introduced in 1984 it was a big departure from the lager dominated country. For dinner I chose the peppercorn chicken BLT served on a toasted Asiago bun and topped with BBQ ranch($ 11.99). I upgraded the standard side of fries to the classic poutine, because Canada($ 1.29). The poutine portion was enough to share with my entire family, so keep that in mind and you might just one to do one upgrade. Both the poutine and sandwich were fairly good, and I would recommend both. My wife had the edgy veggie burger topped with goat cheese, roasted red peppers, tomatoes, red onions, arugula, garlic aioli, and a sweet balsamic glaze($ 11.99). I didn’t try any of her sandwich but she seemed to enjoy it. Many of her included side of fries ended up dipped into the extra gravy from my plate. Our service was great despite the young woman telling us that we would be her first unassisted table. The food was good, and the kids ate for free($ 6.49 value). We would definitely return, especially on a Sunday.

They’re getting three stars because the service was very good, came at a nice pace, got us what we needed etc. The ambience is decent. They lose stars for food taste and quality. The calamari had potential but serving it on a bed of watery tasteless marinara made it soggy and wasn’t great. It could have been great with a nice garlic aioli. The skinnylicious veggie quesadillas has a nice tasty filling but the presentation was lacking and worst of all, the«crispy» shell was actually tough and chewy. Not great! There are so many good restaurants out there; I probably won’t be back to Crabby Joe’s in Guelph.

We stopped here for a coffee on our way into the centre of town. Let me start this off by saying I live in Melbourne where coffee is king so I do look for a high standard. So to Crabby Joe’s offering; EEEEWWWWWW, Uuuuurrgggggggghhhh yuuuuuuuuk. Dish water would taste better. Not only that they did not bring enough milk. When my friend tried to get some no staff could be found, so he ended up sticking his head into the kitchen and thought the owner was going to set upon him with an egg whisk. Perhaps the food is better, and the fact that there is not much competition in the area means this place can maintain it’s basic standard with zero threat from competition. Suffice it to say I would not come back here unless I was desperate for sub standard coffee.

Good menu, nice variety. Service was friendly and prompt. The edamame appetizer and quinoa salad with grilled chicken were tasty. Casual pub atmosphere made for a pleasant evening with colleagues. Will definitely be back.

S-L-O-W service… I mean stupid slow! … I could understand if the food was hand crafted with care. But no this is fast food drop it in a fryer and go! This is the second time my boyfriend and I have been in with the same level of service. I don’t think we will be back Who can screw up chicken wings? Crabby joes! Over cooked dehydrated wings. Barely any sauce… skinny wings… No good at all!

Went one time and had the ribs and wings combo. The chicken wings looked more like sparrow wings, they were patheticly small. And the ribs we SO small and mostly all fat, hardly any meat on them at all. Overall it was a very disappointing meal
