I’m a really big fan of this barber shop. I live in the area but I go out of my way to come here. For under $ 20 I get a good haircut and a hot neck shave with a blade. The place has a great vintage feel to it and I highly recommend getting a hot shave from Phil if he’s working. Wonderful little shop.

MEH… is a good word for it, although way overused word!
i usually go to 2 shops near the church/​wellesley area; they are much quicker and way more affordable.
the 2 barbers are older gentlemen, they have a mostly senior clientele. The haircut was good, but took a loooooong time, the shave even slower. most noticable was the cost; well over $ 30+ for a really basic blade 1 trimming and beard grooming, nothing tricky or complicated. i live very close but the price keeps me from returning. most of the time it is empty; a reduced haircut would not hurt the place, get some people in the chairs. the interior is cool, very narrow, vintage looking.
