Lan Dai Nail Spa

I am so upset after the gel nails I got from this salon! I chose to try them out after reading the couple reviews, but was not lucky enough to have the same experience! I have had them for 9 days and 2 have already broken off, I have not done anything out of the ordinary that would cause them to break, they are simply just brittle! On top of that my regular salon charges me $ 25,
and the nails last a good 3 weeks, whereas here I paid $ 45 and the nails didn’t even last a week and a half!
The appointment started off well, when I walked in the staff was welcoming and the salon was clean, however as time went on a few things started to turn me off:
1. As the lady was doing my nails (the owner I believe) she got up without saying a word to me, and proceeded to walk into the waxing room and wax a clients eyebrows, after I had waited over 1.5 hours to have my nails started.
2. She finished painting my nails and they were in the dryer, I noticed a scuff on one of them, and wanted to ask for it to be fixed, however all the staff had left the building and there was only one lady who was trying to attend to 5 other clients! So I waited around 20 minutes to see if the lady doing my nails would come back, she didn’t, and I was going to be late for an event, so I left.
3. When I left the salon and my nails had completely dried I realized they were bumpy and the gel had not been evened out well at all!
Overall I am very disappointed with the service provided at this salon and will not be returning!

Based on the first review of this place below I decided to try doing a shellac mani. I called and made an appt for after work and they took me as soon as I walked in.
The guy that did my nails was so attentive and detailed I don’t think I’m going anywhere else or to anyone else but him! He quietly did his work and always made sure I was happy with the shape, colour, and that he wasn’t hurting my nails when he buffed etc.
Will 100% be back. See you soon Danny!

I have been going to this salon for 8 years. Lana and her team are very professional and clean. Always laughing and making her guests happy. I highly recommend to make this salon your weekly place of refuge.
