Great little dive bar and happy the goose is in the area. Love the shuffleboard tables and pool table. They have lots of live music and good beer selection. I’m not rushing to try any of the food, but if you are looking for a local spot for drinks then I’d check this place out. Definitely worth a visit!

Hideous. I would never go back, ever. The service was bad. The food was worse. Question of the day, «how do you screw up a hot dog?»

If I could give no stars, I would. Food is horrific and there wasn’t even a dive bar ambiance, which is sometimes worth the price. Overpriced, smelly and just not worth it. Just don’t do it.

Some people love this place because of sheer nostalgia. I don’t. The first time I ever got s***faced was at the Blue Goose, with a friend whose idea of fun was to spend $ 100 on overpriced liquor and poorly-made food, and culminated in me puking my guts out on my front step because I forgot my house keys. The only real benefit I see to the bar’s location is that it’s literally steps away from the Mimico GO Station, and that’s a boon to wasted individuals who don’t have a ride home. The bar is more-or-less the same standard décor and ambience you’d find at any dive bar, and in spite of the awards they crow about on their front door, the wings are overpriced, the food is poorly made(I remember having«fish and chips», which amounted to a square ‘fish’ party and green-ish tartar sauce) and the entertainment is the same crop of bands that shows up all over south Etobicoke and circuits through once a month. The only reason I’m giving it two stars instead of one is because the staff are very friendly.

I’ve been meaning to write a review on the Blue Goose for some time now. It’s not the swankiest place in the world but it’s got a nice vibe — everybody(patrons and staff) are all very friendly. It’s not bad on a Saturday afternoon when Danny B. is playing either. The patio is nice and laid back in the summer and, every time we’ve gone, the service has been fast. One very important thing you should note is that they only accept cash and I’m pretty sure the online menu is quite dated. If you want food, you have to go to the snack bar and order it yourself and, they too, only take cash. All we’ve ever eaten were the french fries and onion rings and they were done right — huge servings and hot, fresh and crispy.
