I’m a server at Parkallen Restaurant, and I pick up extra liquor supplies a couple of times a month. There are a couple of staff that are absolutely exceptional. Alex and Matt are two that deserve either promotions or raises!

I usually don’t shop at Superstore Liquor, typically I go to one of the many amazing wine shops in the city for my love affair with vino! But, when I needed a bulk amount of sparkling wine for an event my first thought was «oh, I’ll hit up Costco’s liquor store»… problem, there are only 2: one way out in Sherwood Park, the other way, way out west by the River Cree, and in a snowstorm, well I think I’ll spend 50cents more a bottle and avoid an hour drive! So, I popped in here. Not only did they have a great selection at a great price (especially when you buy 6 or more of each item) the staff was super friendly. One girl helped me get all the bubbles to the till, another guy carried everything out to my car! Now that’s service.

I make a point of stopping by here every time I’ve got wheels. They might not have the best selection in town, but it’s not bad, particularly if you’re looking for more popular items.
The prices are outstanding. This is definitely the place to stock up for a party.
You need liquor? Oh, they’ve got liquor.
It’s not a specialty liquor store. Let’s get that clear right off the bat. You’re not going to find 100+ kinds of beer or very very rare wines here. You probably won’t even find staff that are experts. Sure, they’re friendly young’uns who can show you where a particular product is shelved and maybe a bit about it, but that’s about it.
But what you will find is a good selection of liquor at very, very good prices. Since you can’t buy liquor with your groceries in Canada, I always end up making separate trips, but since this is in the same parking lot as Superstore, it’s essentially one trip.
If I need to pick up some rum, vodka, basic beer or coolers, I almost always visit here.
