Not only is the décor crisp and tasteful, it’s mixes modern and comfortable perfectly. I love the space they have made here, everything is so clean and well placed. Now, onto the food. The tastes are out of this world. My elderly dad who is a meatatarian, actually grabbed for seconds. He said he was sure there was meat in there, and refused to be corrected. We let him think it. They have managed to perfect the flavors and make eating healthy taste amazing. The service is fantastic. The people who work here are so warm and friendly, it makes me want to come back just to be around them. They really make you feel like you are home, and they are family serving you homemade dinner. Don’t walk, RUN to Padmanadi. They are waiting to knock your socks off.

It’s my new favourite lunch spot. I was super leery about trying a vegetarian restaurant because meat is where it’s all lol. However this place changed my mind after just one meal! Your lunch comes with a delicious cup of soup, chrysanthemum tea, spring rolls and jasmine rice which I sub for coconut rice, yum! The On various visits we’ve tried the rendang, sweet and sour, ginger beef, and the king pao chicken. None have disappointed. The menu has lots of choices and the lunch meal portions are enough for leftovers(for me anyhow). Recommend this place to anyone wanted a nice fresh and tasty meal!

As a long-time vegetarian, I didn’t know that vegetarian restaurants had become popular until I heard of Padmanadi. And after the first time I heard about it, I… kept…hearing…about… it. So finally, I decided I’d have to try their buffet! I’m not sure why, but I’m disappointed. It is very heavily hyped. I prefer Café Mosaic’s ‘fake meat’, perhaps even the ultra-cheap Veggie Garden’s. Padmanadi’s meat felt heavy and chemical-y and the texture felt off, a little too chewy. However, the desserts are beautiful and delicious. Loved their brownie and mango pudding cups. I might be back if I’m in the area to try out plated items. Hopefully it’ll be more impressive than the buffet, which I’m underwhelmed by.

You need to know one thing and one thing only. Mr. Meat and I are like best friends. Yes! We stick together like heart and arteries do. If you take him away from me, Mr. Meat will cry so hard that it will kill him. But. this? Vegetarian food? Oh my, it blew me out of the water — out of my comfort zone. This? This is a whole new level of vegetarian food. It has completely changed my perspective about having vegetarian food — in a good way. An utterly shockingly good way. A while ago, I was invited for a birthday dinner here at Padmanadi. There was no meat. Na-da! Zero! Mr. Meat no where to be found. I thought I was about to cry, but no. I held back my tears and gave the menu an opportunity to comfort me for the loss of meat. When the food came, and the moment came to savour it — I was astounded by the texture and beautiful flavours that it brought to my palate. It tasted so much like real meat that if I was blind folded, I’d be fooled into thinking that I was actually feasting on meat. I’m serious. It’s crazy how much it tasted like one. Don’t worry, I’m still in love with Mr.Meat. The real one of course but I’d give it a casual affair once a while because it’s worth the go at Padmanadi. Give it a try! Your guts will thank you for it. +(^_^)+

They have a loyalty card, it gives you updates to their specials and buffets. Buffets are over-the-top and so delicious for 20 $. If you are not too fixated on having something meat related in every meal, you will enjoy a great dining experience. Kasim, the owner and chef, is not only friendly, helpful and generous, but he is a great human being. Look him up, he’s all over the papers with fundraising and philanthropy. You get a great looking environment, good food and good value. There are things that only Padmanadi makes that I can’t get anywhere else. Their coconut chicken curry is to die for. No reservations for the buffet, it’s every man, woman and child for themselves. Arrive early! Keep track on their social media pages and you’ll know when the next buffet is so you can skip breakfast and lunch that day. If you leave here on your own two feet and NOT in a wheelbarrow, then something has gone terribly wrong. Try everything, nothing involved any animal product on the menu, even if they call it chicken or pork, it’s not real chicken or pork but heck is it ever hellagood.
