Nail Haven

This is a home based business nail technician. So whenever you make an appointment, you’ll have to go to her home and be pampered in her home office.
She’s decorated her office very nicely, always feel comfortable within her home.
As for her actual services, all she offers is custom gel nails for your hands and feet, which are amazing. Her designs are unique and always make for a great new look every month. You only need to get your gel nails filled once a month, they usually stay strong for that long before they grow out.
You’re very involved in the gel process, after all these are your nails. So you get to choose the colour gel and tips, whether you want feathers, seashells or other items incorporated into your nail work for an extra fee of course. There are pictures of other people’s nails she’s done in case you haven’t completely decided and need some inspirations. There’s also a large variety of colours, from flat to colourful to sparkly for the more flamboyant. And there’s also the basic french tip nail she has perfected. Overall you get to be creative every month as to what your nails will look like.
I’ve only chosen four stars because there are times when it can get awkward, appointments are usually 45 minutes in length, so unless you’re one of her really close friends, conversations can get a little stale. As well I find it that she can get very personal with you in conversation, again making things a little awkward. And I also find that as the appointment ends it can get a little drawn out, as you put on your shoes and take out your wallet to pay her.
But overall this is a very nice experience, being pampered in a cozy environment. The nails are done excellently and you’ll always love them and end up coming back for more, finding new creative ways to express yourself. I’ve always gotten a lot of compliments on my nails done by Vanessa, some people have even thought they were my real nails. So I do recommend Vanessa’s Nail Haven to anyone, whether you’re trying gel nails for the first time, or want to find a new place to get their nails done.
