Kopio is one of the only coffee places on or near campus that doesn’t usually have an unspeakably horrendous line (I’m looking at you, Tim Hortons). A friend introduced me to this place when I first moved here and their coffee is consistently good. I doesn’t approach the likes of Credo, which I consider to be the best in the city, but they are reliable and the chairs are very comfortable. It’s a nice quiet spot to relax with a java away from the usual university craziness. The baked goods are fresh and tasty too, especially the cinnamon buns.

I don’t know how it compares to Transcend or Da Capo, but I like the coffee these folks make … and I like their Chocolate Monkeys.
What isn’t made better by some monkeys?
Comfortable chairs, lovely ambiance, clean bathroom … it’s got it all!
