I enjoyed going here last week. They were very friendly and accommodating to my brother in a wheel chair. We were here for lunch on a Saturday and it was fairly quiet. We had the Greek salad, lasagna and spaghetti. It was very delicious. We also ordered pizza from here yesterday and it was pretty good. Try it out for yourself, there will always be mixed reviews about a place, but you never know until you try!

We ordered from the Just eat app for this restaurant, before anyone ask YES we checked online to see if the order was right or not, we also called. So we ordered, a steak sandwich, mozza and mushroom burger, caesar salad, large fries, garlic toast, fettuccine alfredo, 22L pops, its a $ 70 order. My complaint now: Steak sandwich: Literally a piece of steak on a soggy piece of garlic bread, WELLWELL done(literally burnt), NO toppings. We wouldnt have cared and ate it still if it wasnt for the fact that the bread was dripping soggy, falling apart, it was disgusting. The steak itself was burnt, we call and asked about it(Ill get to the call in a bit) and she said thats the way its supposed to be. Burnt. Beyond edibility. Mushroom Mozza burger: The bun again was soggy, literally mush, it was gross. The reason this was soggy was because there is a sauce(I’m assuming it was supposed to be salsa) on it that ISNOT, I repeat ISNOT on displayed on the menu, had a person not have checked the burger and was allergic to it. Well. Ill leave it at that. And this burger is soaking in the sauce, the patty and everything else was fine as far as I could tell. I took one bite, looked at it and it was gross. Caesar Salad: They use mozza not Parmesan like your supposed to. Whatever, if you like it that way then its fine. Fettuccine Alfredo: At this point we were so grossed out that we didnt even want to try anything else. Nick(my husband) tryed it, noodles were over cooked and soggy. Poutine: Store bought frozen fries, tasted freezer burt or not cooked all the way. Gross. Gravy was ok. And mozza cheese on it, poutine is supposed to have cheese curds but I know that some restaurants do this sometimes. The rest of the food we didnt touch Now the call: We called to tell them what was wrong and that we wanted our money back $ 70 for this. Yes, I want my money back espesically if the restaurant is apparently has 4 stars for customer satisfaction. The woman on the phone was VERY rude, I’m guessing she was the cook, we told her what was wrong with everything and she reacted with«I cooked it myself everything is fine, everyone loves the food and we havent ever gotten a complaint towards the food.» Repeatedly. She refused to listen when we told her. We told her we wanted to speak to a manager, her response was that there wasnt one. We asked for a refund and she said no that they would need all the food but and we said thats fine considering we ate almost none of it, it was inedible. She then said that she would give us an in-store credit for it all. Okay, that would be fine if we were ever going to eat there again. We told her we didn’t want to eat there again and that we wanted a full refund because what was got and how much we paid for it was unacceptable. We asked if we could speak to the owner and she said that they werent there, and we asked when they would be, she said when. Okay. And now we are waiting to speak to the owner about this. This is HORRIBLE customer service, she refused to communicate with us. We arent picky eaters by any means what-so-ever, everything was seriously just inedible and gross. The way we were treat by the staff member that answered the phone was disrespectful and ignorant. I HIGHLY recommend the owner do something about this and if not DONOTGOHERE!

We ordered from them through Just Eat. They called back to say they didn’t have the steak we’d ordered and so, «You have to make another order than comes to exactly $ 17» so that they wouldn’t have to redo the order. We went to some trouble to accommodate this. As well, in our Just Eat order, we’d asked for our salad with dressing on the side, due to an allergy. The salad arrived with dressing. A call to the restaurant resulted in an argument and finally a grudging admission that, yes, the request was logged with Just Eat and on their screen. They said they would send another salad out«as long we get the other one back»(suggesting we were trying to scam them for a salad.) We said, no problem, because we can’t eat it. It is just sitting here. After 1.5 hours, we called again and another person insisted that they had not made a mistake on the order and said we would have to pay for the first salad. We will never order from them again. Just Eat, on the other hand, were a pleasure to deal with.

I’ve been here twice and both times were negative experiences. The first time I went in and was the only person in there, yet no one even came out from the back room for the first 10 minutes, and then once she did she was horrible at serving, and then overcharged me for my drink. The second time was a new server, and she was much better, but the clientele was obnoxious to say the least, and the atmosphere of this place is rather dreary and depressing. They are known for their pizza, which I have yet to try, so maybe once I do I can five this place an updated rating. But for now, skip it! #yeglove I Heart Edmonton

Do not be fooled. This is everything it claims it is. It is a dive bar. However, the girlfriend and I went there last night to check it out for ourselves anyways. The décor is what the other pictures show but it wasn’t that dark inside. There were only a few patrons inside having drinks and playing the VLTs. After a minute or two a lovely Lebonese lady came out to the bar and apologized for the wait as they were just cleaning up after a rush. Menus and drinks were promptly delivered to the bar. We ordered the Jose’s special pizza minus black olives(girl doesn’t like them) and some wings. One batch of suicide wings and one of honey garlic. Wings made it out first and were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Very well done. My only disappointment was the suicide wings. Being a huge hot wing fan, suicide means melt my face off. Lol. These were quite spicy and very flavorful but I hardly broke a sweat. Maybe I’m getting immune to spice or something. After a few minutes we got the pizza delivered to the table. It was hot. Loaded with toppings and the dough was fully cooked and crispy at the crust. I’ll put it in my top 10 for pizza places. All in all a great little dive bar. I’ll definitely go back for the wings alone. Note: the pool table is pay per game and is $ 1.25 per game not $ 1. Someone scratched off the .25 off of the push handle for the money.

Don’t hate the place, it’s a dive bar. Had some beer and wings waiting for my tires to get changed across the street. Good wings, had some beers and watched either homeless people, or the owners… playing VLT lol either way I wish It was closer to my place. Lol missing a star cause it’s a dive, but a good dive.

Make sure that if you are ordering pizza that you do not call the one in the south!!! I made that mistake tonight and never received the pizza. I called back and got some BS story that they sent my Oder to Chicago Joes on 111th Ave., needless to say that didn’t happen. I called Chicago Joes on 111th and they were very nice and fixed the problem right away. The pizza and wings were great and I would definitely order for them again. 4 stars for Chicago Joes on 111th.

The food here is fantastic, like amazing home cooked type meals — the pasta and pizza are some of the best in the City. Pizza is a bit pricy but worth it compared to others like Famoso and Rose Bowl, but otherwise is pretty cheap — especially the lunch deals. Delivery is not great, they could use another driver or two, definitely recommend picking it up but sooo worth the trip!!!

I used to order from this place 2 – 3 times a month. What happened? They used to be friendly … Not so much any more… Yes the food is lovely, but be prepared to pay the price of some of the highest pizza’s in the city. I work hard for my money and they are nickel and dining every order to death. Naaaaaa, given the location it NEEDSTOBE affordable, I mean have you gone in the doors? Total icky, I can pay the same and eat at the best restaurants in the city. Try«HollyWood Pizza» it is just around the corner and about 1⁄3 less for the same toppings and just as tasty. BTWWHATHAPPENEDTOYOURPIZZASAUCE. it used to be so tasty, now it tastes like it came out of a can!!! Just saying, drop the price to suit the neighbourhood, your place ain’t all that and more. Keep making the regulars feel crappy for buying from you and all you will have left is the drunks and gaming machines…

After reading great reviews I decided to give this place a try for delivery. I called and placed my order for pizza and a salad. I had been informed that they do delivery within 6 kms. The lady on the phone was very condescending. She told me it would arrive in an hour. About thirty minutes later I received a call from the manager apologizing saying that they were unable to deliver my food because it was too far! I live about two kms away — I wasn’t impressed. The lady that took my order should have notified me that when I places the order originally and they shouldn’t have let so much time go by before notifying me.

This is throwdown tasty pizza. If you can make my eyes roll back in my head with a vegetarian pizza, you’ve got something going for you. Omar, the owner, delivered the pizza himself and was polite, courteous, and very friendly. I’d eat here again in a heartbeat — such a surprise!

This Chicago Joe’s delivers to the South Side of town — for a $ 3.50 delivery charge! But if you’re within 6KM, delivery is free. And I want to say that it’s the best delivery pizza I’ve had in Edmonton as of yet. Prices aren’t Royal Pizza High, but neither are they Pizza 73 low. The crust is dense, but not greasy. It’s more akin to what numerous pizza websites deem«pub style» than Chicago Style. My only qualm is that the person taking my order claimed that their spinach was fresh, but they actually used frozen. I’ll try this again without the frozen spinach and review again.

It’s a Friday night, you just got home from a long work week, and you don’t want to cook. Order the meatsa pizza. The BEST pizza in Edmonton.

My second favorite pizza place in Edmonton. I would recommend this location over the other one… I won’t get into that though. The only drawback to this place is the location… it’s a little shady. But for take out pizza, this is my go-to place. And it’s not even really close to my house. I will travel long distances for good pizza, and this is good pizza. My personal favourite is ground beef and Italian sausage, but they make a good pie no matter what the toppings are. A notable mention to Hawaiian + feta cheese. Give this place a shot… and I suppose, the other Chicago Joes location if you’re so inclined.

I have to say that my parents are really picky when it comes to their pizza; me not so much but I know good pizza when I taste it. Out of all the places we’ve ordered pizza from my mom loves Chicago Joe’s the best and my dad is a fan also. The guys are really nice and try to be really quick, most of the time they are like lightening. If you are going to order anything you must order the wings! They have the best wings around; that I know of. It’s my favorite place to order wings from. The hot ones are good but I love the honey garlic and BBQ the best. If you are going to order pizza then the Joe’s special is the way to go or the Hawaiian pizza is really good. Their pastas are really tasty too, but my favorite thing to eat is the pizza. It’s not oily like some other places I’ve eaten pizza from and the pizza curst is really good too. I hate eating the curst when I’m eating pizza but their crust is great. I think their prices are pretty fair considering the food is really good. I think they still have combos but you might want to call them up and ask them which ones they have.
