The worst service I have ever experienced in Edmonton. Lived here all my life. Asking for anything was like causing a massive in connivence Wings Order was wrong and all they did was send out the dipping sauce of the wings I was supposed to get.

In terms of Boston Pizzas, this isn’t the worst location, but it’s not the best by a long shot either. Service is slow, and wait staff often don’t stop by your table to check on you after you’ve ordered. Every time I come here I feel like I’ve stepped into a deep freeze — the place is COLD. Bring a sweater or you’ll be shivering the entire time. In terms of experience, it’s a miss. But the food is always good and arrives fairly quickly, which is the most important part.

Generally when one goes to a chain restaurant they expect a certain average of service — unfortunately for other Boston pizzas that bar was just raised. Food — I had ordered the double bbq burger — with a side of fries and gravy; while the fries weren’t the greatest(soggy not crispy possibly due to a heat lamp?) they were more than made up by the burger itself; the meat was fresh and juicy. Nothing tasted really overcooked a bit to much, and every bite was just as good as the last. Service — I swear our server was a ninja or something; while there weren’t many groups where we were eating our server was able to give everyone above average service; literally every time I looked up he was helping a different customer and none looked to be really peeved from our non existant wait times. I will most likely come back to this bps in the future

Don’t order from here unless you don’t mind being dissatisfied. I’ve attempted delivery with them 3 times and had enough. Staff are poorly trained, not very tentative. No sense of urgency or caring. I’ve had two deliveries from them, and the third time they told me that I lived outside their boundaries.(Even though they delivered before and it’s 8 blocks away.) So I got take out the third time. First time delivery was okay, second time over 90 minutes. I called the hotline for follow up, they told me to call the store. So I did, but only to get hung up every time she said«hold please». The third time the hotline told me to call the store to place an order cause they couldn’t find my address on their system. The girls only answered and then said call the hotline for delivery, then hung up. All three times SOMETHING was missed, 2 napkins for four meals, no wet naps… I have over 20 packages of chilli flakes in my cupboard but rarely got parmesan for spaghetti as promised — don’t forget the garlic toast I’d say, but it was always missed. Food is always, not bad. Good thing their pizza is good lukewarm. I didn’t complain, I’m a person who just won’t go back. I don’t ever criticize a restaurant but this BPs has only let me down over and over. Yes it’s the small details, but they are in small detail business. They will automatically take your change at the counter as a tip without asking, at least he tried when I got take out the third time — $ 3 and change… Not much, but when I get shit service I won’t tip a dime. I’d rather tip very well or none at all.

My favorite dish is the butter chicken pasta. I have it with the corn pasta because I like the flavour better. The butter chicken pizza is also great. And as usual, the service is quick enough to keep my toddler occupied with the colours and then the food.

This was just another prime example of a firm belief I have that not all chain restaurants are created equal. We came in an hour after opening and with only two other tables occupied somehow managed to get the kind of service that you would expect when the place is packed. It took forever to get our first drink refill and after that no more were offered even when we asked for the dessert menu. Food was alright… the bun that came with my buffalo chicken sandwich was very fresh and the chicken tasted perfect with just the right amount of hot sauce to be spicy but not totally overwhelming. My salad tasted a little wilted and almost like it had come from a bagged salad kit. The worst part of the whole meal was dessert. My apple crisp came out burnt and it seemed like they tried to cover it up by adding a larger scoop of ice cream to mine then the scoop they put on my boyfriends brownie. Thankfully they didn’t charge us for it but I still was not impressed. I am not a foodie nor am I skilled in the kitchen but even I could tell just from looking at it that it wasn’t going to be edible so for a trained cook to send that out to a customer seems slightly insulting. There are BP’s all over the city so I don’t think you would be hard pressed to find another one close by and you wont be missing anything by not coming here.

I placed an order online from this location. It took over an hour for delivery, which I can mostly understand since they’re primarily a dine-in restaurant, and it was a Friday. But when it arrived, they had sent us the wrong hamburger, the fettucini alfredo was cold with barely any sauce(and the sauce that was there didn’t look creamy, but rather congealed from how cold it was), and the side of chicken breast I ordered to go with the pasta was not actually a whole chicken breast, but rather one lonely, burnt slice of a chicken breast. Called the number listed on my order confirmation, waited on hold for fifteen minutes with the call centre(which has some terrible hold music, by the way), only to have a chipper guy named Cole tell me they can’t handle online order complaints and very politely give me the number for the location that processed my order, which was this one. Called the location, asked to speak directly with the manager, and the experience gets a bit more pleasant from here. He was quick to apologize, and to offer to send us the correct hamburger order, and to replace the side order of chicken breast for my meal, at no extra charge. I was tired and grumpy by that point and forgot to mention my fettucini alfredo was so icky, so it isn’t his fault that it didn’t get replaced. The delivery guy returned about 30 minutes or so later, with the corrections as promised. Unfortunately, we were all a bit tired, my alfredo didn’t heat well in the microwave, and it was a bit of a «meh» dinner. Not quite what I would expect after paying as much as I did for what was supposed to be a delicious meal. If I order Boston Pizza online again, it will not be from this location. I was pleased with how the manager handled the situation, but I would have been happier had there not been a «situation» to begin with.
