Customer service by some team members is warm and professional. That said– the wait for a prescription is indeed extremely long and some other team members go about their jobs with a level of apathy that borders on uncaring. Line ups are normally long. Once I tried to have this pharmacy fill a prescription of pills that I wasn’t sure if they could be crushed. These were truly«horse pills». This pharmacy didn’t know if I could crush the pills and didn’t try to find the answer. I called a Shoppers Drug Mart. The Shoppers Drug Mart went the extra mile to answer my question and fill the prescription. If you are in a hurry or feeling so ill you need meds ASAP, you may want to consider an alternate drug store.

Pharmacy goes that extra mile in helping make the right choice for products even if they are not prescribed by your G. P. but are over the counter products.

Pharmacy at Sunnybrook Plaza just on getting worse and worse with the service they give customers. I have been getting my prescriptions filled there for over a year and have yet been able to get out of there in less then 20 minutes. There is always a line up at least 3 to 4 people waiting and no one even acknowledges us they all keep there heads down and seem to not see us. This is become so normal that other customers have joked about it to others in line. «Welcome to the slowest drug store in Toronto». The script is never ready even though the phone system says they would have been the day before. I am trying to give them time but even a day more doesn’t seem to be enough it still wasn’t ready and I had to wait 15min for them to fill it. What was the point of giving them over 24 hours more time when they couldn’t do it in that time. Do they need to have more staff? I am now looking to go to another drug store not as close to my home just because it’s become so frustrating.

Option number 2 if you are normally a shoppers drug mart fan like myself. This one carries almost everything that shoppers does. Helps me a lot so I don’t have to go finding a shoppers when I’m in a rush/low on time and need a product/item. Yay convenience and open till 12am too :)

The closest drug store to my home, I come here often to buy a variety of items like shampoo to magazines to milk. Service here is excellent — staff will drop everything to help you find an item in the store. I remember walking in at 11:30 at night asking if there was anymore Skim Milk in stock. The employee actually stopped what he was doing and went into the back to look for Skim Milk. Prices are fantastic — items like bread and milk are often cheaper than the grocery store. There are always sales going on and you manage to find a bargain… even when you’re not looking for it. There’s a lot(free parking, score!) in the Sunnybrook Plaza… but let me warn you now … this is where the worst drivers of Canada congregate.

I am normally a die-hard Shoppers fan, so this is a biggie. I stopped at this Pharma Plus on my way home from work recently and was super impressed. Not only is there free on site parking, but the store carries everything. From the outside the store looks like your average Pharma Plus, or any other drug store for that matter, but inside it carries a wide variety of makeup, gift items, cards, food, and your usual drug store finds. I did manage to find the comfy insoles I wanted which were located next to every foot bath, soak, lotion and cream you could ever wish for. I also got a kick out of the huge Cadbury display right in front of the feminine products. I will be a repeat customer here, for sure. I feel the need to try every Vichy product…
