Perfection Nail

I found this place on Unilocal after I left my regular salon in tears minutes before. I called and explained what had happened and if they could redo my nails last minute. The lady on the phone was so understanding and said come in right away. It’s located in the same complex as the Cactus Club on Scott Road. The place is clean, bright and airy. I didn’t get the technician’s name but she knew exactly what I needed in order to be happy again. She was quick but very meticulous in her work. She filed them so thin n narrow, you would not think they were artificial. Also, I asked if they do matte finish for shellac and she said yes. My other place said you can only do it on nail polish. Also there’s lots of colors to choose from. Seriously I am so happy with how they look now. Not thick and chunky and uneven like previously. The price was awesome, the most affordable one Ive been to. I will definitely be back.

I really wanted to try a new nail place today. So I decided to try this one and this may be my new permanent go to nail salon!
I made an appointment online, on their website for spa pedi’s for 2. No phone calls necessary when you do this :) they have a large number of talented staff there who I found were very friendly and I got service right away. I took my man with me (who really needed a pedi, and it took me a long time to convince him into getting one)
We were sat down, on the massage chairs. I was handed the color samples for gel nails, in which they had a large selection of colors.
The young lady named Lee who was doing my nails was truly amazing, she really has an eye for detail and didn’t leave me with any cuts or nail sensitivity while sanding my nails (like other places have) I even gave her a heads up about the arch’s of my feet which are extremely ticklish so I let her know not to touch them and she didn’t. I’ve had experiences in the past where they end up scrubbing that area and I hate that.
The lady doing my bf’s feet I think her name was Luanne, she was an older Asian woman. She was so sweet and had a sense of humor. Her presence was very warm and welcoming as well which is what every nail salon should have. She did an amazing job on his feet and fixed the area around his heels that really needed some TLC. This is a great place for guys to get pedi’s, I’m happy I took him to a good place like this because he didn’t mind it at all and because he didn’t mind it he would go back again. This salon has a nice ambience, it’s clean and quiet. These ladies got and deserved a good tip and i’d definitely go back there.

This has become my go-​to for gel sets as of recently. I’ve had pretty good experiences for the most part. I always get my nails done from Lee, who is super sweet and friendly and also a great nail tech. I always get tons of compliments on my nails whenever I get a fresh set from her; she really does a great job! She shapes them well and usually does not nick me and draw blood… Which, unfortunately, cannot be said of a lot of nail techs.
However, I have heard that others at this salon aren’t as gentle (or talented) as Lee so I would recommend visiting her specifically. My only complaint comes from a hygiene standpoint… you really have to make a fuss about it to be given your own kit of new supplies (file, buffer, etc.). It seems like they only really give you one of your own if you specifically ask for it. When/​if you do get one, you’ll be asked to write your name on it and they’ll keep it there for you for next time.
However, I’ve come to know that you also have to be adamant in reminding them of said kit and asking that it be used. Unless you say something, the generic (unsanitary) tools will be used on you just like they’re used on everyone else.
Bottom line, decent salon with a great gel nail tech, Lee. Just make sure you’re adamant about the hygiene of supplies/​tools.

I’ve been hitting the nail places in my area. This place has been ‘recommended’ by many people for acrylic nails– I however usually get pedicures– from walking in the door to where I was kicked out of the massage chair to sit for 15 in a crap chair with a fan on my toes it took 20mins– the colour selection is small — colours are meh.
There was no attention to doing even nails– there was no scrubbing of my souls, no leg massage, and I see smudged polish– it’s a weird design but they did put three gems per big toe– which I’m sure will cost me 10 – 15 $ and there are two women who were here before me and still here sitting in the massage chairs — I will not come back here even for acrylic nails!

Quiet little gem in North Delta. I had a mani and pedi — Great service and prices will keep me coming back.
